I'm exactly the same, always looking out for recognisable faces in photos.... and yeah, I can't place him, but the dude looks familiar to me.

I'm glad that President Kirkman FINALLY clamped down on Governor Royce's defiance of his Presidential orders and General Hammond going behind Kirkman's back...

Totally random but Italia (Emily) got married to Robbie Amell. I didn't even know that they were a couple but it looks like they've been dating since 2008. Congrats to them! Anyway... Keifer was a guest at the wedding.

I knew the two were engaged, thought they'd gotten married ages ago. Congrats to the couple

I'm loving this show, by far my favourite of the new season. There's so much going on with each character and it's hard to tell which way some are going to go as things ramp up inside the White House.

Can Aaron be trusted and is that file dirt on Tom to use or so he can be ahead of what might be dug up on him? Will Emily become disillusioned as Tom is forced to make more grey area calls? Is Kimble too openly hungry for power to actually be a real threat as opposed to just wanting to hedge her bets? Who is calling Hannah? Are Macleish and his wife in on the bombing or up to something else completely? So many mysteries!

I loved the scenes in this weeks ep where Tom put the General and the Governor in their respective places, and I like Seth's new role.

Glad the General was told where to go & I both was & wasn't surprised that the Governor was called to account for his mutiny. That's a death penalty offence isn't it?

Story is really picking up now,However Tom not been Leo's father seems really pointless I honestly forgot about it by the time the episode was finished

Another quality episode, everything with the Navy Seals and The President was really well done and I enjoyed Hannah getting some focus as she investigated room 105, I think Kimble might be the voice on the other end of the phone at the end of the episode before.

Kiefer continues to be superb as Tom Kirkman, his reactions when the news came through that the Seal team were ok were so realistic as an oridinary man, and the final scene with him and the Seal team leader's casket was beautifully bitterswseet.

I was just commenting to someone on twitter about how great Kiefer's expressions have been so far this season.Wish Dylan Walsh could have lasted more than 1 episode though.

Im not a fan of the comparisons, however tonight's episode (esp towards the end) felt very much like 24 (season 1)

This week definitely ramped up the FBI side of things but we also saw Tom suffer his first defeat as President when playing political chess, plus the issues arising with his family are coming to the surface, I really like Natascha McElhone in this.

I'm loving the focus now on the FBI's hunt for the mastermind.

Outside of his son's feelings, I still don't understand what the big deal is if his son is not his'? I don't think that would be a political disaster.

Anyone else think Macleish looks like a budget Jake Gyllenhaal?

Yeah considering whats been happening, this story line is the least interesting one.

Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:
I suspect it's the McLeish wife that's dead... mostly because it makes for a better story than Kirkman's wife kicking the bucket.

We saw that McLeish is waivering in the 'cause' and that the wife is a true believer... so having her die would either push McLeish further into the conspiracy or slowly push him back to the surface and eventually (Season finale type thing) admit it all to Kirkman & Co.

Finally finished watching this.

Why is it not on until March 8th? That's a very long wait. Are there problems with this show?

How did they reconstruct the Capitol building so quickly again? It's only the dome that seems to need repair now, but everything else is there.

Also, Italia Ricci is cute. Nice to see her playing a hero instead of Silver Banshee.

My guess it has something to do with the change of showrunner's

I remember when another political series, "Commander in Chief" underwent a change in showrunner 11 years ago during its first season. It took a change in direction, and didn't end up making it to a second season.

How much would change under a new showrunner?

I do wish they cast more interesting kids. They're really boring in this, and barely seen (which isn't a bad thing). The kids in Madam Secretary are more interesting. And how does Leo end up as Kirkman's son when he does in fact look like the son of this guy?

Even before the question of paternity, I wondered in the first episode whether he was adopted, because he looks nothing like either Kiefer or Natasha or the sister.

They had a great episode tonight and I can't wait for next week. Ugh... Budget Jake Gyllenhaal is doing a bang up job of making me hate him.
