3 episodes and I'm so bored. No wonder why its the second worst reviewed Netflix Marvel series.

It takes a while to get use to the pacing, but the second half of this show was pretty great IMO. The ending could have been better though.

They really don't. Best damn Marvel show since Daredevil season 1.

In case you missed the encompassing theme of the while series, it's that nearly everyone has a dark side. Everyone has secrets you would never expect from them. They act one way around most people but, in certain situations, the masks come off and the trues elf is revealed.

Examples:
Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:
Billy being this suave smooth nice guy who's loyal but, ends up being just sick and twisted and only out for himself.

Lewis trying to maintain appearances while slowly going completely off the deep end.

Morty being a colonel, someone who commands respect being a submissive in bed.

Dinah always trying to hide who she cares about.

Loved the hell out of this show. Loved the slow burn in the first half as it helped connect me with the characters (especially Frank, Micro and Russo) before the 2nd half just explodes. I loved it.

The bondage thing was stupid and totally corny as hell and was just another thorn in this show's side. Seriously, I will be shocked if this show becomes a hit. It's lack luster in the action and suspense for true fans, and too stupid for casual fans. Only ones who can like this show and not see it's flaws, is in denial.

The ole "true fans" argument. You're going for the gold in the troll Olympics. I'm sorry that character nuance, development, and attempting to have something to say about the military industrial complex are concepts that are "too stupid' for you. There's always Punisher: War Zone, that seems more up your alley.

I also liked how well they used the supporting cast. While I loved the kid who played Lewis, I kept asking, "Where is this going?" The payoff was worth it.

I watched 9 episodes. It's A LOT better than Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and The Defenders. Return to form for Marvel/Netflix.

I liked it. I just felt like Marvel didn't learn from the flaws of Jessica Jones. Last four Episodes were awesome as were episodes 1, 3, 5 and 7. 8 and 9 were good as well. The problem is that episodes 2, 4 and 6 weren't as needed. The action is choppier than Daredevil but it's done with guns instead of fists so it's forgivable.

I feel like Punisher was flawed but I liked it better than Defenders since the villains were actually good and better than Iron Fist since the story was easy to follow and the characters were done well.

So, how come Rawlings, in all of his schemes, never thought about bugging Lieberman's house, and have it on surveillance? You would think that the notion of not finding a dead body could be suspect that he might have lived and went underground?

Finished it... the final episode is a bit of a letdown but it was still satisfying.

Overall I'd give this a 8.5/10

Holy cow. Just finished the season. Wow, how are they going to top this?

It went from crawl-walk-jog-run-sprint-cooldown. Most of what was presented--paid off.

Brutal and crazy that world of Frank's.

This. Finally we get a 13 hours of fully developed character piece of Frank Castle, a.k.a. The Punisher. And people can not stop complaining about it. This was a fresh new modern take of the character with all of the important themes intact. Essentially a Year One type story, about Frank still being broken and finding his stride.

They went in deep and explored who exactly is Frank Castle, his motivations and how he fits into the world. This was never going to be The Punisher, a veteran of thousand wars. This was Frank taking his first steps as a solitary man, walking the line between two worlds. In the end, he makes a choice but remains sceptical about the path he is on. His future is uncertain, but anything is possible.

He feels remorse of the life he took for Rawlins, which set the whole thing in motion. He feels remorse about attacking those who only do their duty. His code sets him apart of the gold standard nutcases. He is a renaissance man, hinting that you can accomplish anything with a little bit of dedication. His damage soak is borderline superhuman. He is tactical, brutal and effective.

Sure, there are miss steps, but this is also a work of fiction. You have to go in with a healthy amount of suspension of disbelief. Also, wanting this be "like in the comics" is a moot point, since none of the Netflix MCU productions have been like that. Sounds like people are more interested in fulfilling their entrenched fantasy instead of broadening their horizons with something new.

Finished it. Loved it. The second half of the season is great. I thought this had the best finale of any Marvel show.

I just finished this gem of a season, incredible. This shoots right to the top of the list for me. The greatest character piece Marvel has done. Top to bottom the best acting of any Netflix show and the writing rivals the best of Jessica Jones. Right now I'd put it a hair above DD S1.

I was surprised how much the show took a step back from the action and really embraced the quiet character moments and self reflection. I expected that somewhat, but not to this degree. The themes they explored were interesting and on point.

I'll watch this series again throughout the week and give a more extensive review.

1) Punisher 9
2) DD S1 9
3) JJ 8.5
4) DD S2 8.5

5) Defenders 7
6) IF 7
7) LC 7

To me, this is the best show Marvel has done. I liked it better than both DD seasons.
