But yeah, S9 should definitely be Ted and the Mother.

I just don't believe the end game of the show was literally "How He Met the Mother". If it was then they could have ended it last episode when Ted said "And that, kids, is how I met your Mother." That storyline is finished. We now know how he met the mother. She was in the band he hired for Barney/Robbin's wedding. They had to have always intended to show some of their relationship.

Another thing too, they can't give Barney/Robbin a wedding, and never show Ted's wedding. It seems wrong somehow. They also can't introduce the mother in the Series Finale and have a wedding in the same episode. It's too big of a jump.
