It would be great. If I were to have any say, I'd be prepping a Sony Spider-Man celebration in time for Homecoming. Re-release the previous films, bundled with unseen deleted material and new retrospective documentaries etc etc. Do a trilogy set with Raimi/Maguire interviews and the "Amazing" pair with Webb/Garfield. Extended cuts of each film would just seal the deal. I didn't like the reboots much, but I think people would appreciate alternate cuts of those too as there was a lot of deleted material.

Slightly OT... One of my favourite home releases was Alien 3. Say what you like about Fox as a studio, but they allowed a ton of honesty when it came to assembling the "making of" for the film and I found it fascinating.

Cheers! Yeah, shame indeed. Sony as a studio get no love from me at this point.

Well that would just be downright...logical. Can't expect that from sony.

SM-3 isn't all bad & it isn't great, either. They shouldn't have forced Venom into it, revisited Uncle Ben's murder or made Sandman more empathetic. There should've been far more focus on Harry being the next Green Goblin. A shame that they had James Franco in the role & utterly wasted him in the third outing. The fights were awesome, but the story between the two didn't get the proper ending it should have.

Either way, the best thing about the movie has always been and will always be Bryce Dallas Howard.

I liked spiderman 2 than SM1 and SM3. SM3 was below 1 and 2.

A movie with the deleted scenes would be awesome,as would a official Spider-man 3 score. I have hope for the deleted scenes part, but from what I've heard the score will never be released.
