I used to watch a certain tv series where the leading actor got a lot of flack, and he was amazingly charismatic IMO. So it's funny how people see things differently.

Maybe it's just us crazy Canadians, but a 70 has always been a B- and slightly above average. C's are average and range from 60-69. Barely passing is a D in the 50s. I want to a large, nation research univeristy and all of my undergraduate courses were bell curved as per policy to have average grades in the 60s.

Ashley i cant take it! im really starting to laugh hard now. The kid was a better actor then cavill thats just utter rubbish now. Cavill is blady the main character who embodies it almost perfectly and hes now worse then that annoying kid. In fact i wanted to slap him at times for whining then i remembered hes only the child version Clark Kent.

Ashley just say it you dont like Superman. Jesus what now your gonna say now that even SHANNON is even worse then kid too.

No problem. I understood.

That part reminded me of IM... when RC puts on the suit in the tv spot.

I just want to know if there is a scene where Krypto escapes a giant fireball by jumping through an open door.

I do LIKE Superman, he's not my favorite, That's Batman and Wolverine - but I do LIKE him.

And All I'm saying is the kid's scenes as Clark Kent moved me more than Adult Superman. I simply just identified with a child growing up being picked on and being forced to just let it happen. What's wrong with that invoking emotion inside of me more than the other?

While no it wasn't a virus they did have to arm a nuke in ID4.
Not to be a jerk, but even if the comparisons were as close as you say and I don't think they are, those are some of the most common tropes in science fiction ever. That sort of thing was done a million times before Independence Day. I think you are just seeing connections where there are none because, as I believe you mentioned, you are a huge Will Smith fan.

I don't see a problem at all. Like I said, different opinions are the spice of life. Glad the young Clark scenes were moving to you. Nice that something worked.

I thought it was a little awkward but for very different reasons, those 2 looked like they were about to jump each other right there.

I can only speak for the schools I went to in Texas. 90-100 is A- to A+, 80-89 is B- to B+, 70-79 is C- to C+.

What about it rips off ID4? Just because there is a beam doesn't mean it rips it off and the scene is completely different. Handled way different and not once did I think that. LMFAO.

Just a quick question for anyone who has seen the film. Please don't go into specifics, I just want to know ONE thing; just a simple yes or no will do.
Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:
Is Brainiac referenced in the movie in any way?

Nothing. TBH, I kinda expected that. Nice to see someone feels how I expected to.
