Dang, so Mega Bloks got the Cap license... Should've seen it coming...

There goes my wish of ever having a actual genuine LEGO Captain America...

Well maybe Lego can grab a license too. Mega Bloks ARE a bit larger aren't they?

Maybe one day... It'd be great if LEGO'd do a Marvel line in general...
Anyway, I don't think they would touch the property while Mega Bloks got their filthy claws on it.

While I'm a huge LEGO fan, I'm definitely gonna skip the Mega Bloks Cap products.

I bought Mega Blocks once (TMNT) and was sorry. Not only is it a cheap copy of the LEGO idea, it's literally cheap in every way imaginable- from the price to the quality of the plastic and the manual.

I remember that there used to be a history section on the Mega Bloks website... It read "It started with a dream..." I had a good laugh about that.
It should've read "It started with the dream to steal someone else's idea and get rich off of it."

It would've been cool to have a Marvel line featuring Spidey, the X-Men, the Avengers, Fantastic Four and what have ya...

In fact it's odd that Disney-owned Marvel would strike a deal with Mega Bloks while Disney itself only recently struck a deal with LEGO that spawned LEGO sets based on Winnie The Pooh, Toy Story and Pirates of the Caribbean... Oh well, what do I know of business...

All I do know is I want Marvel LEGO.
(And while I'm at it I also want Masters of the Universe LEGO)
(Think about it... Right? RIGHT?!)

So I just stopped by Duncan Donuts to get a frozen drink for lunch, and when I pulled up to the drive through, the lady came on the speaker and asked if I wanted a Captain America Coolada! ... I looked at my backseat, where my shield was (just happened to be there)... and thought she might have seen it... but my windows are pretty well tinted... so I said "sure" out of curiousity... pulled up to the window, and they are offering blue/red cooladas, which are the blue rasberry mixed with the cherry, and they said they'll have Captain America cups in next week, with 3 different characters to collect.

Yeah I got the First Thor poster from the Comic shop, and printed out the Thor Imax to make a 16 x 20 poster next to it.

Edit: framing the Cap one right now. My Aunt just moved and left me some poster frames. lol

No problem Scarlettess, the frames were £12.99 (they are cheaper on Amazon, but people are complaining they arrive damaged) Asda do sell posters (least the big ones do) but they don't sell Captain America ones (mostly Bieber and football posters)

Heres a good place to buy the poster though-

http://www.play.com/Gadgets/Gadgets/...rlrefer=search

(Free postage too)

And they ship it in a hard tube so it arrives perfect.

Ohhh thanks for that! Shall definately order one from there! I was gonna take a trip to HMV to see if they have one but I don't have to now I was looking on ebay for some frames actually, seen some that go for about £5.99 but don't know how good the quality is (and they could arrive damaged anywho) so far all my posters are blue-tacked on but now i want something nice to actually display them in.
