Obviously I am still living in the pre-Flashpoint timeline lol.

Considering that his magic came from an idol that Oliver just discovered five years before S4, I find it unlikely (unless he finds another totem like Vixen's that gives him power).

I really want Malcolm to die.

And I laughed at Rip.

Also Oliver didn't tell Sara that Malcolm orchestrated the Queen's Gambit sinking? Really Oliver, what else haven't you told her yet?

In fairness, he sucks at bringing things up, so it shouldn't be surprising he didn't bring that up. It never came up in a contextually relevant way.

It wasn't important to the story in season 2. Malcolm was believed to have been dead. If he were to have told her, it would have been off screen. If the story needed it, they would have had Sara say that Oliver told her what happened, but they decided to not have that be the case in order to give LOT viewers exposition. Having Malcolm say it to her on LOT is basically a way of reminding the audience of the impact he has had on Sara's life, and also informing LOT viewers that never watched Arrow of Malcolm's importance in her life. Funnily enough, a lot of Oliver's main villains who have had a big effect on his life have also had a big effect on Sara's too (Dr. Ivo, Malcolm, Slade, Ra's al Ghul and Damien Darhk).

Still waiting for him to pay the price for his actions in season 1 and 3 of Arrow.

Why doesn't Eobard stay in his Reverse-Flash uniform for entire episode?
He looks UNCOOL running around in black jeans and leather jacket.

Kinda surprised Stein hasn't realized that the evil speedster is Eobard Thawne. Has he even mentioned the name to the team?

Hardly impossible with Thawne as an ally. I suspect he'll get his magic "back" before the end of the season.

I was thinking about this but did Stein ever see Eobard as Eobard? When he was going back to the future in Flash S1 Finale was he Eobard and not Wells? I remember him seeing him as Wells when Stein was Firestorm earlier in Flash S1.

Who else feels like Dominic Purcell is becoming the unsung star of the show? He plays the grumpy loner brilliantly (kind of out-Logans Wolverine !) and when Wentworth Miller is there too, he elevates the show beyond the usual CW stuff (which is good, fun and enjoyable but not going to go down in history as a giant of television, or even superhero television.)

This is great, because Heat-Wave is a real C-list one-dimensional Flash villain of the week. Purcell has made him really enjoyable.

He and Caity Lotz have really become the heart and soul of the show - and I enjoy Ray and Nate's goofy antics.

All the cast have good chemistry - even the unlikely pairing of Jax and Stein.

To be honest, the reason I persist with LoT is that it's good, cheesy fun that I don't have to think about too much.

Another very good episode. I have loved every episode of LoT since the 4th one this season and I totally agree with Batmannerisms that Dominic Purcell's Heatwave is the star of this vehicle or at least IMO he is. It's because of him that the episodes are so much fun. I also loved Ray and Nate Bro-ing out in this episode. Everything has clicked for me in these last few episodes. I'm just glad I love the show again.

Yes, I agree that Dominic Purcell is one of the best things in the show. As Mick Rory/Heat Wave, he steals every scene he's in. And as you said, all the characters are very enjoyable, and their dynamics make the series a lot of fun.

Snart dying certainly has given Mick a chance to step out of Snart's shadow and become a full character instead of just a sidekick. Before it was Snart who got all the good lines.

Agreed. I would love for Snart to return though (he's supposed to be part of the Legion of Doom, isn't he?).

Can anyone explain to me Merlyn's line to Sara, "Eliot trained you well"? Like, um...

What?
