Ha everyones forgotten all about anything else at the moment, its all about Ronaldo now but yeah I guess this will all depend now on the whole Ronaldo/Morata madness. I assume we would only move for him if we dont get Morata and once Ronaldo signs his new contract with Madrid.

Don't really care about the Ronaldo bit, was very keen on us signing Morata and this whole 'business' will probably lead to the latter dragging on for longer as well. Won't mind if Ronaldo does end up joining us, but yeah not feeling this.

Anyway, just wanted to reiterate what a despicable little turd Raiola (Dollarumma's agent) is.

Raiola is clearly a slippery snake that finds the hottest prospects and ingratiates himself to them and their families so he can engineer exorbitant deals and take absolute fortunes for his "services".

I'm definitely NOT getting sucked in by these LFC/Aubameyang rumours.

Dont blame you, its hard to believe any of the nonsense spouted by British media nowadays when discussing transfers, social media only makes things worse as well, everyone claims they have an inside "source" which turns out to be BS in the end.

Donnarumma's showing his age and naivety too - from what I understood Milan were willing to make him their best paid player and it was clear that he would be one of the pillars of this new Milan side. I mean, his potential is there for all to see but he's still just 18.

EDIT: I've read up on the whole fiasco a bit more and it seems the biggest issue was Raiola's request for a release fee to be stipulated in the new contract and Milan weren't keen on it being anything less than an exorbitant 100mil, apparently. Seems like there's a few more shades of grey to the whole deal in light of this, but Raiola's still a ****.

Yeah they offered him an amazing package considering his age, nobody in the next three generations f his family would've had to work. But now in typical fashion the chibbby little gangster is trying to paint Milan as the bad guys backing Donnarumma into a corner. It's a pity we've got three of his players at United, I'd prefer to stay clear of the guy. It's actually no wonder Pogba left us, Raiola seems to have a standard MO. As far as the release clause I think it's a fair request from a club like Milan trying I rebuild, they'll never regain their former glory if they don't go out of their way to protect their biggest assets.

On the Ronaldo front apparently Perez is due to make a statement this evening about the whole situation. My money says Perez supports Ronaldo and tries to make it sound like it's a big misunderstanding and he's sure everything will work out, and then they kiss and make up.

Are England likely to advance? And even if they lose to Poland?

Yeah they are fortunate enough to be in a rather easy group (compared to the other groups)

Part one of the Ronaldo back and forth completed...Next time we'll hear about his commitment to the club and how the tax thing was just a mistake.

Hah yeah, it's an interesting statement from him. Also interesting that he says there have been no offers for Morata when they declined United's initial bid. Madrid are a drama and propaganda machine of epic proportion.

Yeah its rather frustrating we have to wait until the confederations cup is over before Ronaldo can go back and sign his new contract with Madrid I'm not sure why we are even bothering to play along I mean apparently his release clause is something like 1Billion Euros, there is no way United can pay that and there is no reason why Madrid would accept anything less.

I thought Ronaldo signing a contract back last November was supposed to be the end of any of this sort of nonsense but apparently not.

Of course they would accept less than that lol. As great as he is, at the age of 32 he isn't worth anything near that. I'm pretty sure they would be ripping up the release clause the second someone went in with 300m. The guy's transfer value will depreciate to a relatively negligible amount over a period of about 5 years or however long he can continue playing at a decent standard (and wants to). So hanging onto him is a very expensive business which could stunt the future of the club. If he was 16 and came with a no-injury and no-strop guarantee then things might be different.
