I'd be all for that. I just think the most likely scenario of a comic book writer's involvement would be Johns turning it over to a WB screenwriter.

After Superman Returns, Mark Waid supposedly pitched WB a reboot akin to his series Birthright. I don't know if that's true.

I always thought Waid might end up writing an episode of the Flash. In fact, I always thought having a comic book writer scripting an episode for the DC TV universe would act as good transition for them into live action storytelling.

You could literally just adapted Birthright and you'd have an excellent Superman film IMO. Not that I'm for doing direct adaptations but as far as they go that obe would tor slimy work.

Yeah that's a good suggestion. John's has so why not a guy like Waid.

Plus why would want to see Star Games in a Superman film? Because in some ways it would have a Thor Ragnarok type vibe to it but at the same time it would have a Hercules vibe also considering Superman would have trials to go through just like how Hercules had to in Greek mythology

And for MOS3 you can base it off of Kingdom Come

Any thoughts on what the budget for this should be?225 mil like last time seems like overkill considering the past reception.Even though MOS did make money WB foud it disappuonting because of how much they put in.

The Lowest i can think of is 180 million budget.

An earth-based story would help keep the budget down somewhat. I'm starting to lean toward that as my preference. If they use Brainiac then I want them to still focus on plenty of Earth-based elements such as Metropolis and the DP.

Interesting.

Using Brainiac could still be a very Earth-based story. He could come here and mess up the Earth in all sorts of ways.
