Now I know what Gunn meant about Rocket being the heart of the movie... it's all about the raccoon... lol
it's ****ing true, he looks so damn good right now, imagine how it will look next year!
His voice choice is SO important.... I just realize he can't be anyone. They have to chose very carefully.

no idea what he should sound like do you want a deep booming voice,a guy with lots of rage and contempt in his voice, sarcastic comedic voice to clash with his brutality, etc.?

i actually would like Mark Sheppard(Crowley in Supernatural) he has a certain calm smoothness yet strong deep gravely voice but also angry contempt in his voice and has a great Scottish accent

I actually think a voice like Steve Buscemi's would sound cool. I'd go with a british Buscemi, someone know one?

He looked superb in the footage, I loved how real he looked, and yet the movie is still a year off.

The look they have for him is great, and that footage of him unloading a clip, while screaming, was awesome.

Rocket and Hulk team up for Avengers 3 please! We all know the magnum opus will probably bring all these guys together. I need that in my life.

I actually wouldn't mind if Avengers 3 is a two part film actually. That would be so damn great.

I'm guessing GOTG will build up on the Thanos threat and in A3 The Guardians will go to earth to help deal with him..or maybe the Avengers head into space ?

So Sean Gunn as Rocket? Huh. Makes a British accent less likely. A good thing.

I think I'd prefer a lesser known actor or a voice actor over a celebrity with an overused voice/persona. Something fresh.

That reminds me....Sean Bean as Rocky would probably be the greatest thing humanity has ever achieved.

I predict James Gunn and Co. are waiting for a "special character actor" to get done with filming with Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Can you guess? Who would make the most sense to bring life to a memorable character/creature?
Let's see, Gollum/Smeagol, King Kong, Caesar, and Captain Haddock. He would be my first pick to truly invent and bring to life Rocket Racoon!

It's a shame that they got Michael Rooker in the film, but didn't cast him as the voice of Rocket Raccoon. I think he'd have been a great choice. How about Peter Mullan? A gravelly Scots accent could be a good fit for Rocky.

If they're going for A-list, they should go for Christian Bale, George Clooney (has experience voicing animals), Brad Pitt, or even Hugh Jackman. Maybe Matt Damon.

Am I the only one who wants Peter Dinkage to be the voice of Rocket Raccoon?
