He's shaved his head again? Why did he do that? It was the perfect length, and all he needed to do was slick it back for him to look completely classic Punisher. Are we never going to see that image now? It will probably take the rest of the series for it to grow back again to even the length it was at the end of DD season 2.

Why do we have to go through an entire series to see a fully-formed Punisher? I thought that was what DD s2 was for. It's like the hairdresser shaved the wrong part of his head.

I still hold that Sam Stein is a codename for Martin Soap.

Are some of these characters made up for the show?

I know who Rawlins is:

http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/William..._(Earth-200111)

Curtis Hoyle is a character from the comics:

http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Curtis_Hoyle_(Earth-616)

But the other characters seem new.

Based on what those characters role in the comics, Frank may be dealing with a criminal group made off former military and intelligence officials, perhaps leftovers from the Blacksmith's group. Considering Jigsaw is a former military officer and private military contractor in this show, that makes sense.

Rawlins is such an SOB in the comics, I hope he stays the same and Frank kills him in a brutal way.

Jaime Ray Newman is in this! I've always loved watching her. She's very cute. I remember her from Eureka.

Can the series handle two red-heads though?

As soon as they announced a Punisher show I knew it would probably revolve around some shady military/government agents and contractors criminal conspiracy. Micro being a former NSA analyst with a mysterious disk at Frank's house and Jigsaw being a military contractor points to that direction. There are a few of those types of stories in the Punisher comics as well.

I like that they are drawing from all the Punisher comics to create their own stories instead of just trying to directly adapt Max stories for example.

It is almost comical how many former guys the Punisher served or met in Vietnam in the comics turned out to be villainous criminals. Writers want the Punisher's villains to have a personal connection to him so you end up with stories featuring guys Frank Castle met for five minutes in Nam being evil drug barons or weapon smugglers or mercenaries

She probably will. She's in all the Netflix series. I'm surprised she hasn't shown up in Agents of SHIELD and in the movies yet.

Maybe the Punisher could see value in having Turk as his stooge.

I don't think Punisher values people like Turk. He might get some information, but that doesn't mean he'd leave him standing. Particularly MCU Turk who is usually involved in more serious stuff than comics Turk.

Well if Turk shows up, I guess we shall see. He's lucky Luke Cage just left him in a dumpster for the night. He indirectly caused a lot of murder on Luke Cage.

The Punisher's go to criminal informant in the comics over the years is Mickey Fondozzi so he does have a history of using low level criminals for info. Punisher allows Mickey to live, on the condition that he become an informant for him. MCU Turk is more a serious criminal than his comic counterpart like you though. He has been shown to be arms dealer and enforcer.

The Punisher is some of his earlier appearances wasn't against leaving criminals alive. The Punisher left Billy Russo/Jigsaw alive to send a message to organized crime. The Punisher is also didn't kill Kingpin in the comics because taking him out would of created a power vacuum full of guys just as bad as Fisk waging war for his position.

The Punisher is strategic and methodical sometimes. He has been shown to work his way up criminal ladders and specifically target particular criminal organisations in a way that weakens other criminal groups. He makes the other crime groups vulnerable and then he wipes them out as well. He wouldn't necessarily just kill a random criminal if it harmed his long term goal of wiping out a larger criminal enterprise.

I don't think Frank would go out of his way to kill Turk. I mean, Turk better stick to doing the lighter, less offensive crimes where Frank can hear about it, but he's not exactly a priority. Doubly so if he's willing to flip on everyone the moment Frank points a gun at him.

Marvel and Netflix have a real opportunity to go for all out war in this one. It's going to be incredible.

Turk was involved in sex slavery in his first appearance in the Daredevil show, if Frank found out about that he is dead.

I think Frank is pragmatic (some writers portray him as some idiot who will kill any criminals he sees), but I think if you go past a certain boundary, Frank will kill you, no matter what and sex slavery is one of his biggest triggers.
