There was nothing wrong with The Bat but the Batwing was just too cool to beat.

This is a hard one for me.

Both were nothing short of incredible. Not sure if I can pick.

EDIT: Just read the original question. Misunderstood the question.

There's no question "The Bat" would obliterate the Batwing. This is like asking which would come out in better condition on a head on collision, the 89 Batmobile or the Tumbler. We all know the answer to that.

I do like that the FOREVER Batwing turned into a sub like the original Golden Age Batplane.

I have to support the '89 Batwing.

...both have their pros and cons in a straight on fight though.

In all fairness, the '89 Batmobile tore through a street with two lanes of traffic flipping cars over as it went. The '89 Batmobile (thanks to movie magic ) is arguably just as tough as the Tumbler.

You think the Batwing would beat The Bat is an aerial battle? as that is the question, not which you like best visually.

The Batwing looked the coolest, but in a fight the Bat wins.

I believe the Batcopter would destroy both the Batwing and The Bat, but that's just me.

...since the Batwing was taken down by a lone gunshot, I guess the Bat gets the edge in a fight. That being said, we didn't really get to see what all the Batwing could do. Had the Batwing been filmed with today's technology, i think it would probably be a much different picture.

Interesting that the Batwing from Batman Forever is being totally excluded. My vote would and does still go to The Bat, though.

The real reason for that radar targeting system scanning Joker was just a nice little way to represent the Joker logo. The same way the batwing making a silhouette on the moon was a nice symbolic way to represent the batman logo.
