This is like the ONLY dctv show that we haven't gotten any major news about for its upcoming new season. I really hope that they plan on doing some big revamps for this show like how Season 5 did for Arrow because I barely got through last season and don't plan on watching this one unless something big is done. Plus, I hated how Rip got screwed out of his position by Sara.

We got the casting news about Billy Zane. Plus, at this point, seems like Sara's more or less earned the role of leader and Rip didn't seem to have a major issue with it.

Not really, given they never had her acknowledge and accept how big a screwup she was this season. Rip Hunter at least has the virtue of having been fun and competent when he was a villain.

The only person who legitimately deserves to be the captain of this crew of screwups and criminals is Mick Rory.

Yes, really. Plus, not like anyone else is stepping up to call the shots, whereas Sara at least did that and was arguably second in command to Rip last season.

Mick Rory would just spend all their time making beer runs throughout history. I think the ancient Egyptians invented beer, so lots of time travel involved.

The team spending all their time making beer runs would probably be a net benefit to the time stream.

Besides, Mick isn't unreasonable. Him being captain doesn't mean they'll never do any proactive good. It just means that any problem or idea that comes up has to pass the Mick Rory Justification Test: "Explain to me why this is our problem, and why we shouldn't just go fetch more beer and ignore it?" If the rest of the team can't convince him, then its probably not a problem they should be solving, anyway.

Mick provides the voice of reason in most cases.
