Ugh... I don't like any of those casting possibilities. I see Chris Cooper as a fit for Jim Gordon for a Batman series, but the two other's don't fit those profiles. Actors being cast as a character of a different race? Could Storm be played by an actor with pale pink skin? I don't get it.

Exactly. That's why this guy could be Octavius.

A consistency with bad choices ... that is scary ... and likely to be the case.

Oh well, still have comics-Ock (I guess) and our imaginations.

Could anyone convince me that Carolyn Trainer is a character worth caring about?

Are you nuts? of course she's worth caring about. Her, Stunner and Ock are a dynamic triad of dysfunction - and prop each other up nicely.

I've only recently started following Marvel again, after a long hiatus. Is it true that Octavius is now Spider-Man? That seems just totally bonkers.... what do true Ock fans think of this state of affairs? It seems like a rage-inducing twist to me.... did I hear wrong?
