I guess I can understand why some people might not like their characters but I always found them funny.

I feel that Raiders of the Lost Ark is the only really good, worthy film.

I sometimes feel alone in thinking the whole series is great. I definitely prefer some entries over others, but I feel each movie is special in it's own way.

I was 6-years-old, and that was the moment I fell in love with movies. For that reason, Last Crusade will always be my favorite Indiana Jones film. I owe it so much.

If I had to rank the Indiana Jones films, it'd go like this:

Raiders of The Lost Ark
Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade
Indiana Jones & The Temple Of Doom
Indiana Jones & The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull

And The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles are excellent too, even though it's a series.

Which is awesome to see

Once in a while I always like to set a day off aside and spend the entire day watching the whole series in a straight row. Definitely one of my favorite movie marathons.

There's some variability in the first two. Sometimes I like Raiders more.

1. Temple of Doom
2. Raiders of the Lost Ark
3. Last Crusade
4. Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Same. I do like them all, though.

I know what you mean. I feel Raiders is the best in a lot of ways, but TOD is the one I find the most entertaining, so they both even out for me in that regard.

There are things to like in ALL films. Even the last one has some good moments.
I should see Temple of Doom again. I remember I liked it, but I found it like... darker in tone, maybe? And that whole thing about the satanic sacrifices and all that just wasn't my cup of tea.

I will never understand the dislike for Temple of Doom. It's an amazing movie, and like what FILM CRITIC HULK (of Badass Digest dot com) said: It's a roller coaster straight into hell. It's a crazy, insane, ballsy movie.

Temple Of Doom worked as a prequel, am I right?

It didn't have to be a prequel though. Also, it contridicts what Indy said about the 'supernatural' in Raiders.

I think it's easily explainable that Indy didn't mention what he saw in TOD since I'm sure the university would'e revoked his teaching license and branded him crazy.
