Well guys, Tonight is the BIG night. I'm either going to cry or just plain out be upset. I don't know why Im going to put myself through this torture, but i faith that the movie will still turnout to be allright for an action/comic flick. Swell adaptation? Hell no.

Whats gonna happen to this forum after the movie has aired? You guys are realy cool, all of you. It's been great speculating and hoping and all that. Hope to hear your thoughts on the movie for the upcoming week.

A time travel story through X3 could be a good X4 and undo everything we don't like about X3!

Example:

Scott & Jean Kissing, she starts her demolecularizing, then a portal opens up and Bishop comes out and shoots her. He saves Scott, because Cyclops plays a crucial role in the future!

Maybe because Scott is saved, Jean is saved in the end as well.... it could all lead up to having Cable be present! I doubt they'd go to deep into alternate timelines, etc... I just think when Scott & Jean died, Cable never existed and Bishop's world changed. So he was sent back to save them. All this could happen in the first half of X4 and help setup a new arc with Cable, Sinister, and Apocalypse!

I do like the idea of a prequel though, too. X-Men 2.5 - Before the Last Stand

"There's this mystery, and I don't know if I'm going to be murdered or embraced." Of the two characters' relationship Janssen says, "I think it was clear in all the movies that the love between them was very strong." However, she admits, "Jean Grey just has a wandering eye, what can I say?" With Phoenix's seductive intentions unleashed, this becomes problematic. "She needed a larger, um... man," laughs Marsden. "Had this been a movie about Phoenix, we really could have explored her relationships," says Janssen. "But given that there are so many characters, and we have to do justice to them, we have to use broader strokes, and you have to hope that it's clear what we're trying to do." For this interpretation, "We take a lot of liberties and my character changes a lot more. We're going out on a limb here and we hope that this is something that the fans will still like."

Just want to repeat what I worte in the review-thread...

After seeing the movie this evening...I don't consider Cyclops being 'dead'...

It's really up to your interpretation... there is no blood, no damage, no body... just a flashing scene. If X4 is ever going to be made then he can be easily written back into the movie.

My interpretation is: he has been swept away into the woods and lies somewhere unconscious or maybe in a coma... but he'll be back!

ps: i saw Scott flesh beginning to be demolucarized (so forget about blood and body)..so ok maybe Phoenix stopped what she was doing... ..Maybe he ran away in the woods ..and at the same moment she fell on the rocks uncouncious...... ridiculous.

ps2: of course he'll be back ..in a clone or something..ridiculous...

Sorry but they didn't change the scene...they just cut that part of the speech if you read the book ALL the lines are intact as it should have appeared.

Similar to Trask's you know what must be done--does not appear in the film, but could ahve thye just cut that little piece out of another scene.

The best part of the brood storyline (which again shows how this movie screws Scott) was when Wolverine steps in to kill Brood-Xavier who asks for a mercy killing and Scott shoves him aside and says "No this is my job [to mercy kill Xavier]"....that was so cool.
