Yeah, that was Jenn Sterger's big break as I recall.

What amazes me is that Kathy Griffin simulates crotch kissing Anderson Cooper on CNN's New Year's Eve special, and people that it was cool....this poor guy calls a woman beautiful and he catches holy hell over it and ESPN is apologizing for....hell CNN hasn't said a word. I don't get it...

It's because hardly anyone watches CNN and probably didn't offend those who did watch. I've been under the assumption that if something happens on CNN and there's no one to watch it, it probably didn't happen.

So she's been hit on by 2 old men that got her lots of attention. Whatever you need to start your career and then keep it going.

I don't get it. He didn't say anything derogatory towards her.

What ESPN should be apologizing for is the overhyping of Te'o and Notre Dame. And the Tebow love-fest. And Skip Bayless. And everything else regarding 'journalism'.

I think it's mainly because they focused on her numerous times instead of just doing it one time. I find ESPN to be some of the worst offenders of constantly showing someone's girlfriend/fiancee/wife even though they play absolutely no part in the game. The rate seems to go up the hotter the significant other is.

Unfortunately I was watching, and it did happen. The bad thing about it was, I had just changed it to CNN...I was flipping back and forth between 3 channels....and well, surprise....

Exactly. ESPN is no different. So I don't comprehend why ESPN is all the sudden apologizing for a non-disturbing comment. Katherine Webb herself said that there was nothing wrong or creepy with what he said.

Poor Anderson Cooper. He was clearly uncomfortable and upset with Kathy Griffin for most of the night.

How that woman is still relevant is beyond me? I've found her annoying in everything she does and immediately turn the channel if she's on anything.

I think Musberger's age is playing a factor. Nothing he said was bad, but he did get carried away a bit and it may have come across as some geezer gawking at a woman young enough to be his granddaughter.

25/1 for Carolina? I'd take those odds. Still higher than the odds they're giving Georgia.

Dry Re: The ultimate NCAA Football thread!!!!!!!!! OMG

The new college football playoff has been given a name.

The College Football Playoff.

Somehow I wouldn't be surprised if they actually had a meeting that lasted hours, to come up with this.
