Finished Planet of the Beast King. Defintely agree that after the time jump it turns into a pretty worthless piece of crap tbh. It needed to keep with the initial dynamic of the two young brothers, one far more capable of surviving than the other, thrown into the wild inhospitable environment, and focus on how they survive. Rai shouldn't have been taken out of the picture so early, I was expecting for him to reappear more hardened to the environment, but no. And Thor as a young child holding his own in a world of adults was also far more interesting than after he'd physically matured during the time jump.

All in all, great initial concept that went in completely the wrong direction.

Toward the Terra episodes 1-4.

Seems like it's part X-Men, part Battlestar Galactica, and part Logan's Run at this stage, I'm very impressed so far.

Cowboy Bebop "Ballad of Fallen Angels"

Could be the greatest thing I've seen in the animated format.

I just finished the Blade anime. Predictable be good. Naruto Shippuden Movie 5 really bored me. Heard some good stuff about Darker than Black and Death note. I will give them a look.

Guilty Crown. Very good indeed.

.hack//Beyond the World. First CGI film I could sit through, very lovely, though I still prefer the hand drawn .hack installments.

Maria Watches Over Us. Beautiful love/coming-of-age story.

Have you read the manga? It's incredible! The anime barely scratches the surface.

I remember watching that and thinking along the same lines. I kept thinking that the new leader guy that appears later was Thor's brother, but apparently, my thoughts aren't meant to be.

I watched the first two episodes of HU yesterday, then found out that the series isn't complete yet. I'm kinda pissed that I'll have to wait so much for the ending.

Sword Art Online. My favorite new anime since the latest .hack installments.

Done watching Toward the Terra and still pretty impressed with it. I wish the ships had been hand animated instead of cgi but i got used to it.

Pokemon Best Wishes 096: Meloetta and the Abyssal Temple.

After 15 years, we finally get to see Ash fight Giovanni. His Persian was a beast in battle; if he had really wanted Pikachu, he could've taken it anytime. Good episode. I just wish it were Misty and Brock with him instead of two people I don't care about.

Fairy Tail 103, it's becoming interesting, but i still don't see a reason for why this anime is so popular, compared to One Piece, Naruto, Hunter X Hunter and Bleach it's not very original or imaginative

Agreed. I like Fairy Tail for its triumphal moments, like when the heroes get all fired up and the main battle theme starts to play.

I agree, the soundtrack is amazing, i also liked the Fullbring arc in Bleach because of the triumphal moments, with Fairy Tail these moments are good with most of the secondary characters, Erza and Gray are by far more interesting to see on screen than Natsu.
