Didn't they say the roaches generated gravity fields?

I found this episode rather boring too. It feels rather too drawn out. I don't like this space setting either with the Kree. I wish they would get back to earth bound stuff.

It's like a completely different show. Had this not been AOS, I wouldn't have signed up to watch this.

It bothers me that SHIELD just refuses to kill people. It's pathetic. I get it that Daredevil has a religious issue...but SHIELD are basically a military unit...freaking kill the bad guys. I think it could be interesting for Mack to get increasingly uneasy with SHIELD tactics and quit...but SHIELD actually has to have those tactics for it to work.

The Kree have really been depowered. Wasn't that one Kree from a few seasons ago basically super powered?

This season is not good. I actually watched a Shark Tank rerun last night instead of this...and caught up today because it snowed and we aren't leaving the house.

.
The Kree were able to trade punches with Lady Sif of Asgard. There should be nothing a Daisy or May could do but use speed to avoid a Kree punch when hand to hand.

I love the space setting. The Kree are stuck up *******s. Can't wait for Shield to completely screw up their twisted fiefdom.

As for the Kree being depowered, GOTG already showed us Peter knocking out a Kree so that he could take back his tape player. They were never gods or invincible.

The big blue bastard Quill knocked out was Kree? I just thought he was a random big blue bastard of some other race and never assumed he was Kree. Why would a Kree being working on a Xandarian / Nova led prison station? Even if so, Quill did blind side him with the Orb in hand.

I'm not saying Kree were godlike, but in the past (on this show) they've been depicted as being no match for any human in hand to hand combat. The Kree Vin-Tak easily defeated Bobbi in seconds and was only matched in strength by Lady Sif. Later a Kree easily killed both Alisha Whitleys in blink of an eye.
There's definitely a noticeable strength difference in the Kree.

mack made a point of holding to a code and a few scenes later the look on this face seemed disgusted when yoyo didn't live by the same value.

I'd also point out killing and murder can easily be viewed as different. A military campaign that involves shooting people is vastly different from killing a person who is tied up.

This, and Yondu, who is a Kree, while having the all powerful and amazing arrow never seemed to have anymore than the power of a normal guy otherwise. Kree likely just vary in power level. Ronan was a high end one, and the ones previously in the show were also stronger, but that doesn't mean your average Kree is like that.

Yondu is not Kree. He is Centaurian, sold to Kree as a slave.

Did some more digging on the Kree...

Now this info is coming from Marvel Wikis and may not totally apply to the MCU, but either way....

Powers
Superhuman Strength: A Kree warrior has twice the strength of a human of a similar age, height, and build.

Superhuman Durability: Kree are very durable, while not bulletproof they are still fully capable of shrugging of hits from beings as powerful as Captain America effortlessly and are presumed to be capable of surviving much stronger hits.

Superhuman Endurance: A Kree warrior has twice the endurance of a human with similar training.

Superhuman Stamina: A Kree warrior has twice the stamina of a human with similar training.

But the more interesting part I found that may explain things.
Kree bodies are adapted to environmental characteristics on Hala that are unlike Earth. Hala has higher gravity and a higher concentration of nitrogen in the atmosphere than Earth. Under Earth's lesser gravity, their strength and speed increase.
This might explain why they seem somewhat "weaker". They are stronger under Earth's atmosphere. Maybe not as strong on the Lighthouse.

Another interesting note. "Kree women possess the potential for psychic abilities of various kinds, collectively referred to as a "seventh sense". This psychic potential has manifested as clairvoyance, precognition, or even lethal attributes. Some Kree women can reach into the mind of male-sex species to manipulate their desires or drain another's life force completely."
This may explain Sinara's control of those little sphere weapons.

Could the Kree mistake Mystique, Nightcrawler and Beast for Kree? Yondu could've passed for one.

Mystique has yellow eyes, yet can transform herself to appear as any Kree, Or anyone else.

Nightcrawler has yellow eye's, a tail, and 3 fingers and toes per foot/hand. I doubt he'd pass.

Beast is the right height and weight, with blue eyes...but I'd think his fur would be a giveaway.

There are some extremely hairy humans though who look like they're covered entirely in fur. They could have very hairy members of the Kree.

In regards to the Kree, my best "No-Prize" resolution would be that the Kree are probably like humans in that there are REALLY strong ones and not so strong ones.

I love this storyline. I'm quite interested in how they wrap this up and move to the next one.

Another thing about the Kree, and Daisy's confrontation with them...(which is general good insight on Daisy as well)

" Even without using the Terrigen Mist, centuries of selective breeding have given Inhumans certain advantages. Their average lifespan is 150 years, and an Inhuman adult in good physical condition who has not undergone Terrigenesis can possess strength, reaction time, speed, or endurance superior to the finest of human athletes. Karnak (the Inhuman) can lift 1 ton and is physically slightly superior to the peak of normal human physical achievement. As one of the few known adult Inhumans who has not undergone Terrigenesis, Karnak's abilities can be considered roughly average for his people."

SO. Being that Daisy is Inhuman, not only does she possess the Quake powers, she's physically above human strength levels.

Again, this is going by Marvel Wiki and may or may not hold 100% true with MCU. But it's something to consider. But with a grain of salt. Especially since we really haven't seen Daisy display abnormal feats of strength. More or less just Black Widow/May/Bobbi type fighting which may or may not surpass theirs. Though it could explain how she has advanced quite fast in her fighting skills since the end of season 1.

It has nothing to do with what has been shown onscreen in Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D or The Inhumans miniseries

from the inhuman show inbred inhumans would possibly have that, when the dr was taking blackbolts bloods he remarked how it was noticeably different.

inhumans in general population, separated, according to simons who only ever came across such persons over the years are indistinguishable from humans.

daisy's father was not inhuman.

possibly suggests that within jiayings clan of inhumans inbreeding wasn't dogma.

Marvel logic is flawed on this. if nazi's had bothered to ask what farmers and botanists have known for centuries whose work is reliant on plants or animals breeding the healthest off spring they would have dumped their idea of achieving superiority by inbreeding. it is the surest way to lead to unhealthy off spring. the widest possible divergence is more likely to lead to the healthiest offspring. The marvel inhuman idea is flawed.

I think there is a theory out there somewhere that Mystique was supposed to be a kree-skrull hybrid originally when Claremont introduced her in Ms. Marvel.

That would make a lot of sense. Shape shifting abilities but blue skin. What if she were the offspring of a Kree and Skrull? That would still make her a mutant wouldn't it, because she would be born that way with that genetic mutation?

In comics some inhumans are peak human strength level.
Black widow, catwoman,,batman, quake, bobbie are peak strength in comics.

I think quake, bobbie and black widow are peak strength types in mcu too but not super-strength.
Their peak human strength is lower in the mcu however then comics.

Medusa for example was able to jump from the 3 floor i think for example in the inhumans show.
She is either low super strength in the mcu or peak human strength too like black bolt or karnak.

In the comics they have all have super strength however.
Karnak and Medusa in the comics have low super strength.

MCU Karnak
Quote:
* Accelerated Probability: Karnak's gift is the ability to instantly see multiple scenarios in his mind allowing him to see the weaknesses and strengths of everything and everyone around him. He is also able to use his powers to identify certain things for him such as the cardinal points and his blood on the ground. After suffering a head injury from a fall, Karnak started having trouble with his abilities.
* Enhanced Durability: Karnak has greater durability than normal humans as he was able to survive a fall from the side of a cliff with only a minor head injury. He was also able to deflect and slice a bullet with his bare hand, and have not suffered any injuries. On another occasion, he was able to deflect an energy blast with a kick.
