Not only is there a video on youtube from CD Projekt Red explaining the first game but I believe that same video is also under the games extras menu so there's that as well. I never even heard of The Witcher until videos for this 360 version starting coming out and I never once felt lost so you should be good.

Well my game glitched and now I can't get Dun's Banner in chapter 2 thus making my forward progress impossible so I'm done with this game. Thank cd projekt red for releasing an incomplete game.

What do you mean by 'incomplete'?
I mean I get that it glitched, and I'm sorry to hear that. You could try the official witcher forums, there could be a workaround and the guys there are pretty nice. |

So, on some online retailer overseas there's been listings spotted for both the 360 and PS3, for The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf.
So, it's obviously fueling rumors again that maybe first Witcher game could wind up on consoles. CDPR had a conference a day or two ago, and made no mention of this. So, it still could be fake. But, I wouldn't be surprised if it were true. Apparently, CDPR mentioned that they seem to be happy with the sale numbers for the game on the 360. |

I enjoyed this series so much I ended up reading the books and they actually give a lot of awesome background.

Yeah, just recently finished 'The Last Wish' and 'Blood of Elves'. Great reads. The focus on the political landscape in the second book was really interesting.
I'll probably wind up replaying the game a few more times, it seems like there's a number of different paths to take with the game. |
