In the back of issue 10 it basically says that was the last issue

Is it not worded in a way where it could be interpreted as the last issue of the first run of Agents of SHIELD? If not, surely yet another comic revamp of SHIELD featuring the Agents of SHIELD characters could replace it?

With the latest announcements, we can be pretty sure that there will be no new volume for AoS...

Quake/Daisy will be the teamleader of a new "Secret Warriors" incarnation:

and the solicitation for February's "GHOST RIDER #4" says:
"Guest-starring the AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.!"

I'm hoping they keep the comics Agents of SHIELD alive. I thought the last book added some interesting elements (even if I didn't always like the execution).

That doesn't mean anything. Daisy led the Secret Warriors on TV whilst working for SHIELD.

If anything, surely that's more a hint that there will be more Agents of SHIELD? Why feature the agents if they have no future plans for them?

Any news yet on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. continuing in comicbook form?

Nope All I've seen is the Guide to the MCU for Agent Carter and AoS

I wish they'd hurry up and say if the Agents of SHIELD series is coming back. They could at least update the AOS page from 2016 to present to 2016 to 2016 if they're not planning any more releases.

The last issue had a little farewell message, so it was clearly cancelled. There's no reason to think it's coming back. The closest you'll get is Secret Warriors with Daisy Johnson. Maybe Coulson will show up from time to time. Or you could read Nick Fury Jr.'s new upcoming book.

Is that included with the graphic novel collection? Surely Marvel would officially announce a cancellation?

What is this farewell message everyone's going on about? I just received the graphic novel editions through the post today and a quick flick through showed that the last comic strip ends with the words 'Never the end'.

Well, it's been a ride. Not as long a ride as I had hoped for, but one which I am exceptionally proud. Katie Kubert put together a remarkable team which made this book one of the best-looking I've had the honor to be a part of. I'll forever be grateful for her introducing me to the phenomenal talents of German Peralta, Rachelle Rosenberg, Mike Norton, Ario Anindito, and Joe Caramagna. Tom Brevoort, Christina Harrington and Alanna Smith made repeated changes behind the scenes that always raised the level of this book.

And then there's you folks, the readers. Thank you for all your support. The enthusiasm you filled my Twitter feed with found its way into every page of this series. (Special shout-out to @WardsWarriors, our most passionate advocate.)

See you all in the funny papers.

Best,

That does sound like a farewell message. Hopefully either Agents of SHIELD is being replaced with a new series inspired by the show (See S.H.I.E.L.D. - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) or Marc Guggenheim is simply just departing after ten issues.

Either cancelled, replaced or Marc Guggenheim leaving I wish Marvel would officially announce what's happening as they do with other comics.

Marvel typically doesn't announce things, you just see the solicits and there's no new issue. The last issue came out in October. Marc Guggenheim is now writing an X-Men book (although writers can typically write for more than one book). The main artist was German Peralta and he's now doing R.L. Stine's Man-Thing. However, the last two issues were done by, Ario Anandito, who doesn't appear to have any announced projects.

Update for those of you guys who like to read comics about our agents:

On February 22nd, "Ghost Rider #4" will be released and Coulson and May just showed up at the end of the last issue:

Also, the Karnak series wrapped up last week. It featured Coulson and Jemma pretty much through all the six issues. I haven't read it yet personally, but will do so before September as Karnak himself probably will be one of the characters on the Inhumans show and I need to know those characters' basic characteristics better before watching

Not technically a SHIELD comic book thing, but I thought I'd post it anyway:

Marvel is planning an industry-wide hydra takeover for Secret Empire

While it's probably not literally coordinated, I would argue this story arc of Agents of SHIELD is part one of that. The comics will have Hydra taking over the world and now Agents of SHIELD has the framework. It's a pretty cool bit of synergy.

Yeah with Cap involved too. I BARELY hear ANYTHING with the new Red Skull anymore except when he's talking with Steve.
