On Marvel.com. The articles recently (which people have posted in here prior to the release of the SO) tell you which deploys you need:

Eg: http://marvel.com/news/video_games/2...nce_spec_op_32

Quote:
Marvel.com: What other villains and heroes will play a major role in this Spec Op?

Tony Sherrill: For villains we’ll have Winter Soldier, Abomination, Absorbing Man, and Worthy She-Hulk aka Skirn, Breaker of Men as mini-bosses. As far as hero deploys are concerned we have Molly Hayes, Falcon, Spider-Girl (Anya Corazon), Captain America, Hawkeye, and Black Widow as the required heroes for this gamma infused Spec Op.
http://marvel.com/news/video_games/2...nce_spec_op_33

Quote:
Marvel.com: What other heroes step up for this mission?

Tony Sherrill: You’ll see some of the next generation of powered people in this one: all of the Runaways, Nova, Kamala Khan, Ultimate Spider-Man and Spider-Gwen to name a few. In fact, Mission 1 restricts you from using anyone except for them, as well as X-23, Kate Bishop, Amazing Spider-Woman, and Spider-Girl. Oh, and Spider-Gwen and Kate Bishop are required to fight the Epic Boss in Mission 3.

Okay, cool. I'd seen a couple of those, but I couldn't remember where to find them again.

Where is she coming? In PVP or a lockbox?

I wish we got an Avenger for the SO. At least one from the comics instead of just the Blue Marvel if we can't get a character from the movie.

So it's not a movie tie-in at all.

I guess there won't be movie alt costumes then?

And I'm guessing Ms Marvel/ Captain Marvel will be heavily featured since she's in Civil War II.

Seems as if MAA2 is getting the CA: CW movie tie-ins while MAA1 is relegated to stuff from the CW II comic storyline. I'm a bit disappointed that we won't be getting anything tied to the movie as I typically look forward to potential alts from those (was really wanting MCU alts for BP, Falcon, Ant-Man, and Spidey.) About the only good thing is we'll be getting 2 new heroes to recruit. One thing I know is that this SO will be make us burn through UIso really fast with two paths to complete, just like the AvX SO did.

Yeah. Cool to get 2 heroes. I wasn't playing during AvX so we'll see about the uIso returns. I know the last time they did 2 heroes (Blade/ Morbius) I didn't have enough uIso to get the things that dropped from deploys for Morbius.

From reading the character list for the CW II storyline, it appears that the only missing heroes from that event are going to be Miss America, Hulk (Amadeus Cho), and Spectrum.

Morbius was a covert op not an SO hero.

We better not be getting all the left overs now while MAA2 gets all the good stuff. And I hope they don't phase this game out in favor of that one. If that happens I'm done.

His covert op directly took part in the SO. And he still sucks.

And as far as the game being phased out in favor of MAA2, well people will speak with their dollars. If MAA2 doesn't make any money, it will go the way of MAA Tactics or whatever it was called and Marvel's Mighty Heroes.

truth be told captain america's civil war costume doesn't look too different from the costume he wore in age of ultron and this is an image from what marvel heroes has planned

I guess he'll have magneticshield for AOU but other then that that thatlooks different is one suit is tighter. other wise he looks the same.

I don't think they wanted to come up with new move sets with first game. and they overly obsessed with MAA 2 right now.

So will the SO be released at all to coincide with Civil War or are they not bothering at all? Will it just be whenever they feel like releasing it? Should we expect it within the next week?

Soon (Tm).

I think the fact that they have shown the artwork means it is close, but I wouldn't expect it tonight. Then again my Spidey sense is tingling.

They haven't shown as much artwork as they have for previous SOs. They still need to show the epic boss don't they? And also if there's a group boss, then there's the artwork for that. And also the usual article on Marvel.com.

Since it is a split path SO, the epic bosses are most likely going to be Captain Marvel and Iron Man. Group boss seems unlikely. I guess we could get a new villain like Crossbones.

Maybe it is the PVP that is making me tingle.

Well at least if there are no movie alt costumes I won't have to spend my CPs on them. I do want to know who might be required for the epic runs. There might be more heroes required this time though, if we have a split path.

Are those just speculations or are they the actual sides?

I have nearly all of those except for the ones I don't.

Those are the actual sides.

Considering in theory you will have to play both sides, it's just interesting to take a look at potential team ups.

Pro has both the 3 Symbiotes and the Fallsworth family plus Captain Britain, so if we can't use the agent for some reason, those are the highest teamup bonus teams in the game, I believe. Probably more prudent to go through the pro side first to get towards 3*ing stuff.

Yeah, I'll have to go pro for 3 stars. Looks like nearly everyone might be involved.

It would've been weird to break up the 3 symbiotes. But Iron Man and War Machine are on different sides?

Maria Hill and Phil Coulson are listed as well. But are they just there for dialogue and not actual characters?

I wonder if it's safe to collect from my allies yet.

I'd wait, even though I don't think its tonight since we haven't gotten the Marvel.com article yet.

Also, I was looking at some stuff on the Playdom forums and Colleen Wing + Howard the Duck have an even higher team up bonus then the symbiotes.
