As much as I love The Question Hush would shoot him in the face and finish what Baby Gun couldn't.

One guy armed in what I assume is an arena bout makes all the difference.

That said if you take Hush's guns out of the equation The Question as trained by Richard Dragon would dismantle Hush in all of 5 seconds. But I've no reason to believe Hush would be unarmed anymore than if it were... say... Two-Face.

Or if both were released into a setting skirmish style, that probably evens it up most of all... gives each guy a chance.

But with no stipulations I'll just have to say Hush.

Yeah, Hush is going to blow the non-face off Question's true face. Kinda uneven to have him start off wih his weapons. Question's a better fighter but that won'tmean much in this one.

Hush

I don't know where you guys get this arena stuff from, this isn't "the combat chamber" or whatever that other thread was. As far as I'm concerned all the matches I post take place where ever the characters are likely to meet up in a story. So to me that means that, in a case like this, either the hero figures out the villains next crime and shows up to stop him or he tracks him down to his lair after the fact. So for the sake of argument I'll say Question has tracked Hush down to some warehouse full of crates, barrels, pallets and what ever else that can be used for cover.

For future reference please think of all matches along these lines.

Question, I mean come on man, Hush is just another bad dude with a gun, and not even a very good bad dude with a gun either.

Whaba?

Then that means it's an edge to the Hero in every match against a villian if you're saying they've tracked down the bad guy or interrupted a crime.

How's that even fair?

Its also essentially made Batman practically immortal...

I mention this arena stuff because I haven't heard otherwise and I want a consistant, level playing-field for characters. I mention it each time because I like to show the rationale behind the way I'm voting... otherwise the distance between these Fight club threads and the Marvel vs DC thread becomes closer to nil.

Sorry I don't buy that at all. The villain knows who his enemies are. For instance if Joker is running amuck in Gotham he expects Batman, Robin, Nigtwing, Huntress or any other Gotham hero to show up. He'll always have a contingency plan! If Joker was in another city he would be aware of who the hero in that city was. So the hero knows who he's after and the villain knows who to expect. That allows everybody to use their strengths whether it be prep time, brute strength, awesome fighting skill, marksmanship or what have you. Likewise if the villain is tracked to his lair the hero knows who he's going after and the villain doesn't know when he's coming but he knows who might come and it is the villains liar so there could be silent alarms, traps, strategically placed weapons or what ever. Once again it allows both to use their typical strengths.

This is how the fights go down in comics and the villains win their share. In my opinion this makes the fairest fights and an arena style would be the most lopsided or at the very least severely limits who can go against who.
