Today is my first time in this thread, and he is the reason I opened it. Good call.

Tom Hanks. If he wasnt in Castaway it would of been a very boring film.

I honestly think that Morgan Freeman lifts any film to a higher level. Even if he is given a terrible and awful script to work with, he still delivers. Best example would be "Dreamcatcher". Bad novel adaption, but Freeman made for an intimadating villain.
Also I cannot think of anyone else playing Red in "The Shawshank Redemption". Which is funny because he was described as an red-haired Irishman in the novella. But even when I read this passage in the novella I still see Morgan Freeman. His performance was truly memorable and flawless. Also I think Daniel Day Lewis could play a pile of dirty laundry, still showing godlike acting. |

Can't wait for that Hitchcock/Hendren bio from HBO. Good to see his work won't be shoved aside like it was after Capote.

Liam Neeson.
He makes any movie he is in at least 33% more awesome at minimum. It's science. |

I feel like The Amazing Spider-Man wouldn't have done as well as it did without Andrew Garfield. He and Emma Stone made that movie a lot better.
Michael Fassbender's a good name to throw around this thread. Great actor.
