lol yeah that annoyed me to no end. It's a damn good piece but it's overused way too many times.

But yeah Clint's works is amazing.

I thought he really elevated the ending of Smocking Aces.

I had no idea he was involved in Smoking Aces.

Yeah, I was kinda surprised it was his music long after I saw the film.

My favorite works of him are all from The Fountain. I could listen to those all day.

The Fountain, Moon, and Faster for me. He was on my list of potential composers for Man of Steel.

That poster is giving me Robin Hood vibes which is the last thing it should be doing.

You mean the original biblical story? I don't know, but the wiki summary is this:

Quote:
Subject to divine visions foretelling the end of the world, Noah attempts to tell his people to cease their mistreatment of the earth in order to be saved. No one listens to his warnings, and Noah and his family are cast out to fend for themselves in the wilderness. Noah approaches a race of giant six-armed angels known as the "Watchers" to rally them to his cause
So, yeah, outside the angels bit it sounds moderately accurate. Though it seems the time period has also been changed by the look of some of those pics, but I don't know for sure.

Anyone know if they every released that GN in English, yet? I haven't read anything about it recently.

Mistreatment of the earth? It's gonna be an environmental movie? That's not how it went down in the bible.

That's the poster they chose? It should have been a wide shot of the ark, nothing more.

No, but it's easy to fit the story to that. I think it'd go over well better than, 'hey, god hates you 'cause you sinning, so stop it.' There's no mention of the ark, but I assume it'll come into play at some point.

The whole six winged angel thing is the thing most out of place.

This film isn't going to be the traditional bible story. Yeah the characters are there and the flood and the boat but that's about where it ends. Ray Winstone had this to say:

Quote:
It’s set in the days, it’s set back in the time but you get that kind of vibe that it’s all happened before, that humanity and civilization was there before as big as it is today. It’s got that kind of ring to it as well.”

http://www.craveonline.com/film/arti...ronofskys-noah
Its much more than the bible story.
