The "spray on bodypaint" costume is so dumbassedly ubiquitous I can't even get that angry about it anymore, I'm just appreciative the once in a while someone bothers to draw a costume that behaves sort-of like actual fabric.

There is only ONE Spider-Man. His name is Peter Parker. He's an adult, and he's straight!

I don't know if this has been posted, but I am tired of seeing ADULT Spider-Man looking scrawny as hell, and Batman looking like the friggin' Hulk.

Why? Scrawny-ness isn't necessarily indicative of age. I know some very lanky adults.

I wouldn't want that any more than I'd want a grim, menacing Spider-Man or a gentle Punisher.
Most people tend to forget or not know this, but dark blue and grey are the ideal colors for urban camouflage. Black actually makes you stick out.

Also, Bruce loses his "hey, this is a human superhero" factor when he's all dark and brooding.

Yeah but Batman fans hate it when you call him a superhero. He's a vigilante.

For my preference, I like to see some muscle when I'm not looking at the teenage version. It's what I'm used to and I think it looks better. After 10 years or so of somersaults, acrobatics, wrestling with the likes of the Lizard and tossing cars, it just makes more sense that he not have the same build he had when he was 16. He doesn't have to be built like Captain America but he shouldn't be built like the dude in "She's Out Of My League", either.

For my tastes, I don't like him in blue.

No, he can't. Bruce Wayne can smile. Batman can't.

That's not what he says.
Look, I don't really like the idea of humanizing Batman because he is all too human. He created this guise and this persona so he could be something more than that. The last thing he should want is for his vulnerability to show through.

Two words: GREG LAND

I hate the "art" that keeps getting passed off when the guy just traces everything. Especially when he uses the same damn faces.

I didn't get annoyed until I saw him put that face on Storm.

I agree with iron man but with all the faux muscle suits going about in movies, i would argue that muscled armor is realistic. Not all armor is hard plated, and following the muscles is following anatomy...

Give me an example of a good looking muscle-armored suit.
