Default Captain America cartoon, how would you do it?

So it makes alot of sense that when 'Captain America: The First Avenger' hits theatres Marvel will want as much media diversity as possible which would include an animated series.

I think Cap is a difficult character to translate though because it's set predominetly in World War II while most children prefer to watch things set today. Also Captain America is an older man so while I think Bucky would appeal more because he's relatable Cap might have some trouble with younger kids.

So how would you do it?

High action/adventure WWII pulp throwback is the only way to go for me. Secret government missions, evil scientists, giant robots, a little nazi occultism thrown in for good measure. Of course it won't happen, but I'd love it.
