I will just laugh if Gwen doesn't die by Green Goblin.

I'd prefer if they save her death for the 3rd, but regardless of when it happens, I think it will be pretty spectacular. If there's one thing Webb can capture and portray perfectly on film it's emotion and his ability to make it feel real and relatable. Like in 500 DOS, after JGL finds out Summer's engaged and storms out of her apartment. Webb did a great job conveying exactly how JGL's character, and any person in that situation would feel, with the music and direction and everything. The emotion just comes across really effectively. And if any actor can pull this one off it's Garfield. Whenever it does finally happen, this has the potential to be monumental

.....and it better be by GG

I'm completely fine with it being Electro that kills her. I just hope the execution is very intense and emotional. I think it will be most effective if at first, Spider-Man and Electro are fighting with no music (like in TDKR, Bane vs Batman), and then some music comes in when Gwen is in danger.

And from what I've read about and seen of Electro, he's a pretty one-sided character. But if he does kill Gwen, I'd like to see him become a multidimensional character and also be devastated by this tragedy.

They can't have anyone but the Green Goblin kill her.

I agree, but GG could possibly show up in the end of ASM2. He prob wouldn't end up being confirmed anyway as I'd imagine his appearance would be kept tight lipped. And my previous reply to you was based on the fact you said Gwen shouldn't die at all...that "it isn't necessary." You didn't specify having her killed in the 3rd rather than the 2nd movie.

People are jumping to conclusions way too quickly. Let's not be hasty here, if anything it could just be a major fight scene and that's it. However, we still don't know exactly who Colm Feore is and if he is being saved/kept quiet as Norman Osborn/GG than we can still get Gwen's death as it plays out in the comics.

Webb made some changes to the origin just so it could be "different" but I don't think and maybe it's just wishful thinking from a fan, but I don't think he'd go as far as making Harry Venom and having another villain kill Gwen.

My main worry about them straying from Goblin killing her (or at least dropping her off a bridge like he's supposed to) is that Goblin already did that with MJ in the first trilogy. The GA probably doesn't know that's how he does it in the comics, and would most likely see that scene as a complete 'ripoff' of the first trilogy, which kinda sucks for us who would love to see that iconic scene played out on film

Of course they could always have him kill her in some way other than the bridge, which I'd still prefer as long as it's still GG doing it. But the more I think about it, the more it seems almost impossible they'll have him drop her off the bridge like he should, which is a bummer.. Maybe I could be wrong though. If they're willing to retell the origin, hopefully they won't care enough about people being mad about seeing the same things twice in certain instances and still be willing to do it

That's really great! It's fantastic that he's got so much enthusiasm for it. Whatever faults TASM had, he was not one of them.

Dude! ***** that's awesome haha. If you see him again soon, can you ask him if they're keeping the more dramatic tone for this flim? (Like for TASM.) I enjoyed that tone and I hope they do. If he believes in it, I believe in it, seeing as he IS Spider-Man lol.

I've never thought about the MJ thing. That's a very valid concern... I hope they don't care, and do it anyway. It should have a different feel from the scene in the first movie as well.

About his hair, looks pretty much like what we're used to. He was shaved this time though, definitely prettied up, lol.

No way not to sound weird asking this, but what's his workout routine like?

Is this just your standard regular gym? If yes, it seems a bit odd that someone like Andrew would be there without attracting much attention. Not saying that I don't believe you (you even posted evidence here a few pages back lol). Just that I find it odd.

Thanks for all the tidbits! I honestly don't know how you concentrate when he's there!

Andrew mentioned doing a lot of pilates and core work for the last movie, so maybe he goes somewhere else for that? Must be nice to get paid to work out!

Here's an article about his training routine for the last movie:

That's cool. Just wondering if you'd gotten an idea of the different moves/sets/reps/duration of the workout since these routines are generally put together for maximum effectiveness for what they're trying to attain.

But you're right, it's mostly dependent on how hard you're willing to work.

LEGEND, I envy you honest to God. I work out at Retro Fitness in another borough but if I lived in the city I'd be asking for that gym address right now haha!

Love how genuine Andrew is by the way. The best celebs are the ones that act as if their star studded lives haven't affected them at all. Down to earth!

So, does Andrew go straight from the gym to wherever they're filming? If anybody knows.
