Default Metropolis Series Fancast

So, there's been talks about a Metropolis Series set before Superman arrived, involving Lex and Lois, in what I've heard is like an X-Files type story. This is my fancast for that.

Camilla Mendes as Lois lane

Dylan O'Brien as Alexander Joseph Luthor

Scott Caan as Detective Dan Turpin

Adrianne Palicki as Detective Maggie Sawyer

Robert Sean Leonard as Dr. Emil Hamilton

Bex Taylor-Klaus as Leslie Willis/Livewire

Matt Lanter as John Corben/Metallo

Daniel Gillies as Ultra Humanite

Philip Winchester as Bruno Mannheim

Michael C. Hall as Morgan Edge

For me, Margot Kidder is the visual template for Lois, not the comics...and I've always thought that Jocelin Donahue (House of the Devil, about 1/3 of the commercials on tv) would fit that pretty well. Plus, I heard an interview with her once where she said that Lois would be her dream role...so I guess she'd be my pick (though I doubt that I'll actually watch this show).

Rashida Jones is my pic for a prettier version of Margot Kidder Lois Lane.

Yeah...well...I dont need a prettier Lois Lane. While there are plenty of actresses who could play the role, looks is not something I would even consider. In fact, I kind of like the idea of Superman falling for an average looking girl because she's smart, interesting, dedicated, hard working and a good person. Of course, the most beautiful woman on Earth could be all of those things...I just don't think it's in any way required to properly portray the character.

I think both actresses are older than I think Lois should be in a prequel for Superman.

Dylan O'Brien for Lex though eh I cant see it. And I dont know why he somehow ends up in a fan cast for like every superhero property.

In Teen Wolf I thought he gave a good villain performance. I was also taking some cues as Lex in his youth being more geeky, like in Birthright.
