Default UK vs US books

Maybe I should start looking for US editions of my books - this sounds sad if true?

Dragon Quest is pure nostalgic Jrpg bliss!

Default Re: UK vs US books

Book durability really depends on the binding, paper type, and the environment and frequency of use. But quality or lack of quality isnt exclusive to any single region. I have cheap and high quality books from England and America. My Bloomsbury books have held up fine. Bloomsbury uses glue and they sew the binding.

Rather than importing a bunch of American books just check the binding of any hardback you buy. If its sewn and glued buy it. If its only glued look for a version that has sewn binding. And dont store books in a humid environment.
