Surely another solo Superman movie, a solo Batman movie, a solo Wonder Woman movie (Gadot confirmed she signed for one), a Batman vs Superman movie and a Justice League would all be priorities over a Flash film.

Why hope for tv Flash's failure when you'd probably have to wait a long ass time anyways to get live action Flash movies? I'd rather have Flash right now. Arrow is quality too (last nights ep was amazing),so i have faith in this series.

Arrow is better than the GL movie, that alone makes me more confident in the CW's ability to do a Flash show than WB's ability to do a good Flash movie.
I'm not a fan of Arrow so I can't really get excited for Flash if it's the same people making it. I like animated Superhero shows, but i've never liked the live action ones. Lois and Clark is the only one I remember being halfway decent. I've watched a few episodes of Arrow and it always feels like 35 minutes of standard TV soap drama and then 5 minutes of superhero action.

I'd rather just read the comics and wait for the movies.

Granted WB will probably take a few years to make a Flash film.

Maybe they can have the TV show and then end it before the movie comes out. I just don't want them avoiding characters or stories for the movie because the show already did them with a 100th of the budget.

I should note that I haven't watched Lois and Clark since I was 12 and have basically avoided rewatching it on youtube because I know it'll probably seem corny as hell.

I still remember having so much fun watching it as a kid.

Lois and Clark used to be on Netflix, and I tried to rewatch it, and it was pretty bad. I think I only got about 3-4 episodes in. I loved it as a kid, though.

CW only broadcasts. WB still produces the show along with Berlanti's studio.

I thought that :&C was fine. Mostly because Terri Hatcher is so much fun to watch as Lois Lane and I think that she and Dean Cain have some good chemistry. It's not great, but I enjoyed it.

Lois and Clark is an amazing show and was watched by 20 million people on its prime.

[CLOSED-MINDED]Maybe so, but all i was saying is that i don't get how someone can like Lois and Clark and dislike Arrow. The quality difference is pretty clear...[/CLOSED-MINDED]

The TV show isn't standing in the way of your getting a movie.

The movie never ****ing happen in the foreseeable future is probably the reason we're getting a series.

But nice job wishing failure on something before you've seen a single frame.

Different Strokes and all... But I can't help judging people defending LOIS AND CLARK.

For me, I just can't help but judge people that dislike Arrow and like Lois and Clark.

Lois and Clark is unwatchable to me.

WB's track record would suggest that it has a good chance of hurting the possibility of a Flash movie.

I tried watching Arrow. I really tried to like it but the family drama and the love story just kills that show for me. It takes up way way too much time. The same as the teen romance stuff killed Smallville for me.

Hopefully Flash will just focus on Barry being the Flash. It could be good.

It's just funny because as soon as i read his post i thought to myself that you'd have probably some snippy comment like that if you read it. Classic Sawyer. You're a regular on here, you help make the place what it is. I wouldn't have it any other way.

And Sawyer,

i'm here to stay...

That's a valid criticism. That part of it used to bother me in season 1, but since then, they've shifted focus to the more important things that you and i would actually want to see.

The soap opera element has been toned down a lot since the show began. a lot. and now the soap opera elements/dramatic interpersonal relationships are actually interesting and not a chore to watch..

Early on, I really hated the soap opera stuff between Laurel, Ollie and Tommy, i fast forwarded through all of those scenes. They just didn't fit in with the rest of the show. Thankfully the creators realized this, and toned things down. It suffered from some typical CW drama stuff at the beginning but got way better

I'd suggest last night's episode to anyone. The show got really good in season 2.
