Bought the soundtrack, this might be Zimmer's finest work yet.

Hey man it is what it is. If you make good music it pays off. I buy bootlegs a week before release and if it's good I buy a copy or two (one for the car) to support the artist.

I've done it myself, but let's be honest, I'm sure the majority of people don't.

It won't hurt the sales. In fact, they'll get more money this way. Some people like to listen music on youtube. Take "Flight" from the Man of Steel's score, for example. There are two videos of that track with 2 mil. views. A lot more with at least 100 000 views. That's a lot of money from just one track. Imagine if the whole album is up on their official channel. I think it's a smart movie.

So, uh, I got the Vinyl version of the soundtrack. How do you activate the digital download? Has anyone tried it yet? When you go to the link on the download card, there is nowhere to enter the Pin Code???

Yes. On repeat listens it becomes better and better. What I like most of all is the atmosphere it creates. It's dark - nightmarish in places, and has emotion in spades. If the movie is anything like that, we're onto a winner.

Bought it and can't stop listening to Beautiful Lie and Black and Blue. Those chorus lines are unreal.

Whats the difference between the regular and deluxe edition soundtracks, does the deluxe have additional tracks?

So can we all agree that "Must There be a Superman" is obviously Braniac possessing Superman?

I mean, what the hell?

Beautiful Lie
Fight Night
Is She With You

are my favorite tracks, along with returning MoS cues.

I'm digging those sinister, classical Lex Luthor themes.

Fight Night and Is She With You? are my joints.

Must There Be A Superman? is eerily yet deliciously dystopian/post-apocalyptic. I wonder when that plays in the film?

"The Red Capes Are Coming" is deliciously evil.

Once you become familiar with the score, and the motifs that play throughout, it's a solid piece of work. I'm satisfied with it.

I agree with those who say the batman stuff is pretty generic. I wish there were more superman tracks, love the continuation of the MoS stuff, the piano is just epic. This is My World has been playing on a loop for the past 2 days.

I'm really growing into the Batman theme...a lot. I like how epic it sounds, especially when the angelic chants come in towards the end. It's no Elfman but its an epic sounding theme for a modern Batman.

The beginning of This is my World reminds me very much of Zimmer's Lion King score. Which is a great thing.

Uh. The beginning of that track is the Clark Kent piano theme from MoS which then transitions to the sad version of If You Love These People, also from MoS. After that we have the new music, which is more reminiscent of the ending portion of LotR: RotK when the hobbits bid goodbye to Frodo and Gandalf. AKA tears will be shed in this movie guaranteed.

Yes. I realize that it's themes from MoS. But the way it is presented sounds like something from Lion King.
