The two greatest anarchists on the face of superhero movies...
The original Norse trickster figure/god of mischief/horse-raider who manipulates your heart vs. The archetypal trickster/agent of chaos/schizophrenic clown who inspires your mind to madness ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() "I come with glad tidings. Of a world free... from Freedom." a malignant bastard son who feels wronged for being born in the wrong place, with a self-appointed need to oppose Fate against ![]() ![]() "Their morals, their codes is a bad joke. They're only good as the world allows them to be. When the chips are down, these civilized people will eat each other. The truth: the only sensible way to live life is without rules." a nihilistic clown who sees the world as inherently absurd and meaningless, with a propensity to show that morality is a joke and that any action is ultimately justifiable by the idea of opposites. Picture a three-part contest, concluding with a face-off. 1. Each has to escape their respective prisons, 2. Cause at least 1 significant landmark catastrophe in town 3. Kill a beloved "supporting character" * all the while keeping your do-gooder off-track. Finally Break the other guy in their own torture-room / evil-lair. Loki gets Arkham Asylum, Joker gets Hel. (OR if you want to keep things relevant to the movies, Loki gets Gordon's MCU at Gotham Central - Joker get's the Helicarrier). Essentially this last place has to be the one where your anarchist broke out of in the first place. ![]()

Round 2: Ragnarok
The Joker's location, of course, would be more limited than Loki's since he's only got Gotham City to play with. But that doesn't mean his choice for symbolic landmarks is any less. ![]() You start with Gotham's other prince... ![]() Wayne Tower (the adjacent road leads both to the Monorail Station as well as to the street where there was once a confrontation with the Dark Knight) ![]() Wayne Manor ![]() Gotham Clock Tower ![]() Sprang Memorial Bridge Monarch Theatre, Parkrow "Crime Alley" - a special place for Batman, located in Lower East End, where incidentally Catwoman hangs around. ![]() Gotham Hall of Records - you blow this up and you destroy the city's history ![]() The Batcave - if only you can locate it... ![]() Gotham Cathedral - Batman vs. Joker history that makes it a landmark

BONUS ANTAGONISTS:
Since this is a contest between two evil-doers, it's rudimentary that the character alone blows the chosen landmark, which means they might have to one-up another anarchist-figure in the process in Round 2. For Loki, that's ![]() and for DC's clown, it's Vertigo's own anarchist: ![]()

Round 3: Getting the Bunny
Having destroyed one significant landmark in the city, the character's primary nemeses are busy dealing with the disaster. During the ensuing confusion, the agenda (and opportunity) is perfect to cause a holocaust that's much more personal... The objective of Round 3 is to kill a supporting character, either an ally or a love-interest. The methods to do so, as always, remain open to improvisation. For Loki, the potential victims are... ![]() Sif "The Beautiful Haired" ![]() "Doctor" Jane Foster ![]() Heimdall "The Sentry" ![]() Professor "Myth-Knowing" Selvig ![]() Baldur "The Other Brother" or ![]() Phil Coulson, "Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D."

Finally...
The Face-Off. You have to break your opponent at their own prison. Winning this determines the outcome, but the advantages... At the site of the face-off, if you come in first and have a 2 outta 3 advantage in the "race," you get to keep one of your own goodies. The advantage means that Loki gets to keep his scepter, and the Joker gets to keep all his cards. So, who would break first in a hypothetical torture scenario? Loki in Hel/Helicarrier, or the Joker in Arkham/MCU, provided that the torturer is the other guy? You decide. With reasons. Who's better at anarchy? the God of Mischief, or the Prince of Chaos?
