I know that, but my mind has been ingrained by the JL cartoons that I know have visceral connection to him being a black dude because of the voice actor.

I've written some so far. Just for fun (I'm trying to write my own original sh** so this was some Justice League Crisis on Two Earths film adaption I've been doing). I borrow from a lot of stuff and it's very high concept so I'm struggling to pull it off. I'm not really referencing when they change realities. It just kind of merges at the end (think Twelve Monkeys with superheroes).
CUT TO. WAYNE MANOR – DUSK. POOL BRUCE WAYNE swims laps furiously back and forth is a lap pool behind Wayne Manor. Back and forth, back and forth. QUICK CUTS back a forth between Alfred walking out with a meal, to Bruce in the pool training with the same fierceness and determination you’d expect from Batman. ALFRED PENNYWORTH descends down a set of stairs towards the pool carrying a metal serving tray. He reaches the pool area and sets it down on the table just as Master Wayne is exiting towards Alfred. ALFRED I made your favorite Master Wayne (He removes the top) French onion soup. BRUCE WAYNE Did I forget to do something today, Alfred? ALFRED Other than meet the President? No. BRUCE Right, yeah… BRUCE That fight was pathetic (pause) For them I mean. BRUCE Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Lantern I break a sweat. But for them this is all like…it’s routine There’s no man or alien who threatens them. I don’t belong there. I don’t fit. ALFRED You shouldn’t compare yourself to them. BRUCE I don’t. I don’t think anyone does. I don’t think I have a choice. I have to find a way to live with these…people. ALFRED When your father hired me Master Wayne this place seemed new, and different, and foreign, but in time I found it to be my home. BRUCE It’s our home Alfred. I promised Dad I’d protect it, and I will. FADE IN. ON OWL CAVE. PARALLEL EARTH 2 A Man encased in a metallic suit resembling an OWL huddles over a dimly lit computer screen. The screen shows coordinates in CHINA. OWLMAN Begins a countdown and steps back. He quietly observes. A blue light envelopes a massive egg shaped metal object. The blue light glistens off OWLMAN’s mask. OWLMAN presses a finger to his helmet. OWLMAN Dark Matter bomb ready to go. Launch CUT TO. HONG KONG STREET – DAY. A boy rides past a large crowd on a bicycle. Vendors fill the streets. The hustle and bustle of the crowd is evident. They hurry without delay, this is a normal, everyday, kind of day. Then the blue energy appears. The crowds stop stunned. Unable to understand what has happened. The energy slowly subsides, leaving the egg shaped bomb. CUT TO. SHOT OF EARTH FROM SPACE looking at CHINA. A ploom of black energy erupts silently. A pulse wave ripples through space. The black energy subsides leaving a massive crater. A small light glimmers in the middle. CUT TO. MOUNTAIN TOP ELSEWHERE PARTS UNKNOWN ULTRAMAN, a Superman-esque looking gentleman adorned with golden armor over a blue costume, with a cape resembling the American Flag stands next to SUPERWOMAN, a fierce looking amazon warrior with a sword. ULTRAMAN Hnh, Try to collect your debts now. CUT TO. WHITE HOUSE – NIGHT. Out of one of the rooms darts a lady, using a sheet to cover herself. She appears to be distraut. LADY Pig. Out walks a very lazy eyed man in a flight jacket. The flight jacket has red piping and is being worn over a bright red shirt. The pants are black, tucked into standard issue military boots. Noticibly on his right hand is a bright red ring. Down the hall walks a man in a yellow track suit. Skin tight, like under armor. The suit is adorned with all sorts of sponsors. The man in red is called POWER RING, otherwise goes by Harold. The man in yellow is JOHNNY QUICK. JOHNNY QUICK Ladies love ya’ don’t they Harold… HAROLD Ring’s got a mind of it’s own dude. JOHNNY QUICK I bet. Is Ultraboy and Super Woman back? HAROLD Hell if I know. I heard the boom. A COMPUTER zooms in on the crater slowly. Frame By Frame By Frame By Frame Slowly zooming in closer to the center of the newly formed crater. Finally it captures an image close to the center. A small black orb. Zooms closer. A small black orb is reflective. Zooms closer. The small black orb appears to be pulsing with sheer energy. It’s a singularity. MUSIC BOOMS as OWLMAN backs away from the screen and gasps. SLAM TO BLACK. KANSAS – JAIL CELL. DAY. OUR WORLD SUPERMAN causally enters the front of a rustic police station. All the Police get up as if startled. For a moment you half expect them to draw their guns. Then a silent sense of awe floats over the crowd. Nearly seven men stand in amazement. One officer, an older gentleman who appears to be in charge steps forward, and removes his hat slowly. Like something out of a western. OFFICER As I live and breathe… SUPERMAN (SMILES) (sign) Officers, I am a United States citizen requesting to see a prisoner. That is all. OFFICER (Settling his demeanor) I believe I know which one. The OFFICER opens a prison door, in to a cooridore of holding cells. The OFFICER points down the hall and motions directions. SUPERMAN steps in front, and walks all the way to a particular cell. He stops in front, and grabs the bars. SUPERMAN How are the accommodations treating you, Lex? LEX LUTHOR Eh? Food’s not bad. Kinda bland. SUPERMAN Maybe I should get you take out… LEX LUTHOR Yeah, there’s a Sushi place near my building in Metropolis. Samurai’s Palace…talk to Daka…like 6 second trip for you… SUPERMAN Alright, Luthor ENOUGH. So, what was the game this time LEX? LEX LUTHOR Proving a point. SUPERMAN What, that your plans are cartoonishly transparent? LEX LUTHOR No, that you and you’re group is unbeatable. LEX LUTHOR I threw my best stuff. My best robots against you and you brushed us aside like nothing. I’m the most powerful criminal left on the planet, and I can’t even touch you, them. …HA, even without the Lantern. What will you fight when the last of us is gone Superman. What villain will you create then? SUPERMAN Alright. Yeah, we’re done here. OFFICER! |

Henry Cavill will be Superman from what I read MOS will be spearheading the dc movement. As far as the cast goes I really hope they don't use John Stewart for GL. Hal is my second favorie but I'm really hoping for Guy Gardner. If they use him the way he is used in GLC comic then I think he would be the breakout star.
Superman: Henry Cavill Batman : Joshua Jackson (he was nolans second choice so i'd be ok with him. plus i think he would make a bood bats for a team film) Wonder Woman : Lynn Collins (she kicked ass in john carter) Gina Carano(i would giver her a chance) Green Lantern: Guy Gardner: Jensen Ackles or Brian Austin Green Hal Jordan : Ryan Reynolds or Taylor Kitsch The Flash: Scott Porter Cyborg: Columbus Short |

LOL Taylor Kitsch are you kidding me? No way he gets a role like that after Battleship and John Carter.

Nah, he still could.
GL isn't what's going to draw people in. It'll be Batman and Superman. |

Yeah I like Taylor. I though he was pretty good in John Carter and I don't really plan on seeing Battleship. He was one of the few highlights in Wolverine. He has made some duds but don't most actors when they are starting out. Taylor was good in Friday night lights and The Savages looks like its going to be really good. I'm all ofr giving the guy another chance. John Carter was a good movie in my opinion not perfect but good.

It doesn't matter that you like Taylor. John Carter was one of the biggest bombs of all time. Battleship didn't do much better. He's not going to get a part in this movie.

I can see them beat Marvel to the punch and bring in DC's biggest baddie Darkseid into Justice League. After all, it was rumored when Kirby created Darkseid it, Marvel created Thanos. In response, DC created Mongol. Irony!

But it's too late to beat Marvel.
Avengers II is in the works now, for 2015. |

I like the idea of Starro, pays homage to how the League first started. Then at the end it could be revealed that Darkseid was behind the Starro attacks to pave way for his invasion of Earth. Or if you want to go an alternate route have a sequel be with Lex and the Injustice Society or base it off of Tower of Babel.

I'm all about Earth 2. Nolan did Inception after all. He might be up for something that ambitious.

Oh I'm sorry! I wasn't aware i was casting this film for WB, I thought i was just giving an opinion. I didn't mean to ruin the movie with my ****** casting. Its unheard of for a good actor to be part of an under performing movie

I want to see Superman and Wonder Woman do a Predator handshake.
"What's the matter, Kent? The Daily Planet have you pushing too many pencils?"That would just make my day.

Taylor Kitsch isn't seen as a good actor right now.

I like him as an actor, but that's beside the point. He's not seen as a bankable star right now.

From a few pages back. This is still the best plot summary that I've read. There may be a sticking point with whether Brainiac has appeared on film by then (which would parallel Loki a bit), and WW needs more to do, but overall its uses classic villains that still work well today, its well-paced and gets everyone together in a timely manner, and I like the mystery setup.
