In X4 show Cyclops like shooting Pheonix with the laser and then flying into the lake or something unconscious... then he is picked up by Sinister or some *****... maybe he stumbles on a secret base where SInister is doing his cloning experiments and he gets captured.... that's the only way I can see it... my only prblem is wtf is Sinister doing at Alkalai Lake...

Good question. Maybe finding Strykers old base and gathering some information for his cloning experiments? And just so happens to luck out and find Scott unconcious?

Or as Bastilla said, he could have an underground lair and just be at Strykers old base gathering information. He hears the rising of Phoenix and watches Cyclops be knocked back by the Phoenix into the woods.

Those are two scenarios a writer could use.

Far fetched *****... but I could see it... the only problem is if they have to shoot an extension to that scene... its with new cast members... and that's something that just might not fly...

He could clone Scott several times.

They could surround the Wolverine and melt him into a puddle.

Have you heard this ****? Listen to the mp3 huge interview with Simon Kinberg and Zak Penn about their entire work on X-3... they believe that Jean and Cyclops love is NOT... I repeat NOT a key integral part of the Dark Phoenix Saga... Zak had a slight point about how it's a woman who becomes possessed ala Jeckyl and Hyde and must sacrifice herself for the good of humanity... but what a load of crap overall...l CYKE MAKES THE CONNECTION with Jean... not god damn Wolverine

sorry but they screwed the pooch on this...

What's hilarious yet Ironic is that Studio execs DID NOT Want to do Phoenix at all... they wanted a classic Mags vs X-men story but these guys try to come across as if they were championing that they wanted Phoenix through out and had to fight tooth and nail there... which maybe fine, BUT DO IT GOD DAMN RIGHT... A quote by them "when we saw the first half the film, we felt WE had won the battles as writers [Penn and Kinberg], yet as you can see in the second half, we did not win all the battles." That means their entire ****ing stupid intention was to do away with Cyke in the first place INSTEAD OF SIMPLY knocking him out... it's very poor writing to just kill him when he culd have just as easily been incapacitated then have a dramatic moment and die at the end fo the film...

It's ironic but I would've PREFERED the damn studio exec plot of a classic Mags vs X-men storyline WITH NO Phoenix and LET THAT DEVELOP IN X-4 with a proper production schedule. Instead these *******s who try to come across as champions for the comics just really screwed things up

I'm inclined to agree my friend. Which is why I don't understand why or how so many fans can defend them at times.

Let's face it, we were duped by empty promises and outright lies not only from the director and actors, but the writers as well. When the script leaked out and garnered a lot of heated hate towards it, they went the route of using the old excuse; "A lot has changed since that script, don't believe everything you see or hear".

Those gave us some hope. Then we hear from Hugh Jackman that Cyclops isn't pushed to the background, everything that made him important is in the film and that we'll be surprised. Which was echoed by the writers Zakk and Simon too.

We were told Angel gets to kick a lot of ass(According to Ben Foster and the writers), Rogue gets to kick ass(According to Simon and Zakk), and we all just feel betrayed by the writers, the director, and of course the studio for even making this film.

So no matter what Simon or Zakk says; while it may be with the best intentions and maybe sincere on their part, it doesn't change the fact that they outright lied to us in order to see the movie. They got their money and obviously don't give a flying **** as to how we feel.

If they were such "fanboys" for the Cyclops character and the comics, they would've found a way to include him in the film. Deep down they didn't want him in there and went along with the whole yes-man aspect.

It's like the Cyclops return or something.

I think all of the above things, minus Cyclops, were in the movie at one point but didn't make it past Fox...

Figures. Once again we're left of what could've/should've been.

I hate Fox, I hate Rothman.
