After rewatching Iron Fist, I actually think it was a brilliantly extended metaphor for one's penis. He concentrates all his energy to one body part until it goes off and he has to recharge for a while, until he gets a girlfriend and starts being able to pace himself.

Also, the hand beats the **** out of him for most of the season.

That’s funny, to me it felt like an extended metaphor for taking a large and painful dump.

...oh...no...sorry.... that‘s just what watching it felt like.

Interesting to read that Feige wasn't a comic geek growing up.

Taika Waititi should make a mockumentary style Star Wars movie like What We Do in The Shadows.

Given how Lucasfilm operates, that just might be true.

Remember that rumor that Iron Fist was going to be a direct to Netflix movie instead of a show. They should've gone that route and made the whole movie about his time in K'unn Lun or however you spell it

I mean other things would have to change too

Dammit, it just occurred to me that we're probably going to lose Franco's Multiple Man movie now. That was a fun couple of weeks.

It's pretty crazy how much they talked about K'unn Lun without ever showing us any of it. Scott Buck needs to be flipping burgers.

I mean all the cool stuff: the training, the punching of a freaking dragon.

Also making it a 90 mins-2 hr movie instead of a ~13 hour show mightve been able to let them up the effects especially of the iron fist

We will see. I imagine things like Deadpool will be under the Fox brand, rather Marvel Studios brand. So I am hopeful that things like Multiple Man and Mangold's X-23 will still happen.

So now that the X-men are coming home, how do you do the mutant gene when they've already got the Inhumans? I guess just handle it in the same sort of way and pretend the Inhumans never happened? I'm totally okay with that. Screw the Inhumans, screw Ike Perlmutter, and screw any one else involved with that travesty.

Since we already have an established MCU with no mention of mutants, are people okay with the X gene being something new and it gets treated as some sort of new disease? Or should they just pretend they have been around all along and in hiding?

Or that a virus has been unleashed effecting 0.000001% of the population. It'll also create the whole mutants as being outcasts.

Can someone confirm that the following suspicion of mine:

Lucasfilm allowing Rain Johnson to develop a whole new trilogy with new characters and worlds is the most financially valuable gift that any director has ever been given, by a substantial margin.

I'm pretty sure that this is true, and phenomenally impressive, but I'd be grateful if others could confirm ... or refute !

probably something to do with thanos screwing around with the infinity stones and the universe is dramatically altered in the process.

Post IW and A4, there are mutants.
