If Cillian was willing to beef up like Chris did, he would have been a very scary and interesting Batman. Those eyes would haunt your dreams for life!

Actually those eyes tried to convey creepiness by the mere fact of opening them too much. Not enough.

Murphy would have been an excellent Joker.
I know it's considered (stupidly) blasphemy to suggest anyone else for that role, but he'd have been phenomenal. Maybe in the reboot series he'll get a chance. |

It would be absolutely abyssmal and horrible.
Cillian Murphy, an ultra skinny guy , who looks 20 (while he is in his mid 30s now) for Bruce Wayne/Batman ? Hell No ! But if your question would have been "Imagine GUY PEARCE as BRUCE WAYNE" I would have answered (without a shadow of a doubt) : HELL YEAH. Pearce would have been a brillant Wayne and Batman. But I would prefer him as a villain personnally and The Riddler would fit him brillantly. |

He's too short as well. I keep remebering those scenes where katie holmes was edging him out.

I noticed that, too. Scarecrow is supposed to be a tall man.

All the parts in Batman begins were perfectly cast IMO.

Using Ken Watanabe as a decoy was kind of a waste, too. I guess that was the point.

Yup his Scarecrow "costume" was weak. A potato sack on his head.
