I'm interested to see what Adler brings to Megadeth on their next CD but I'm keeping expectations low.

I need a new Red Fang album like now.

Wow. Both the song and the video for that song kinda sucked. I can see it becoming an anthem for guys serving in the military, even though the video and message is kind of the antithesis of that. This feels like a parody of modern metal, rather than a fresh new Disturbed song.

Yeah, kinda of a dull song. But I'm looking forward to the album.

Just heard the new Wombbath song "Fall of the Weak." It's pretty rad. I never heard anything by them prior, but I love this song.

Check it out: https://soundcloud.com/clawhammerpr/fall-of-the-weak

How is BTBAM's album? I'm a huge fan of Colors and the Great Misdirect, anything developing on from those vibes would be fantastic.

Seriously though, this album is shaping up great. I've liked just about every song I've heard so far.

I skimmed through and it does sound quite jazz/space prog metal. They have two songs officially on YouTube:

I also love Colors and Great Misdirect (former being my favourite from them; White Walls ). I think Coma Ecliptic will be more along the sounds of their Parallax albums.

I need this LoG album now. Everything I've heard so far has been unbelievably good. Think I like this song most.

Awesome, thanks man! Going to give those a listen.

The way that Mirrors leads into Obfuscation and Viridian leads into White Walls = Insane! I'm a huge fan of BTBAM's progression as a band though, quite excited for this new album. I can't say I'm as big a fan of the Parallax projects as I am of Colors/TGM but all their recent stuff has been really good listening. It's pretty crazy to listen to albums like Alaska/Silent Circus and to see where they are now, really progressive band in the denotative sense.

Anyone pick up the new Lamb of God? I did and had to do a minor road trip yesterday. Listened to it 4 times in the car. It's really, really good. The track with the dude from Dillinger Escape Plan is absolutely phenomenal.

You won't be disappointed. Have you heard the song Chino from Deftones is on? They released it on Youtube and it's really stellar.

The new LoG album is certainly excellent. I already enjoy it more than their last album. Fortunately doesn't lose steam half way through the album like a few of their albums tend to.

There's also new music from The Sword coming soon, and I like a couple of the tunes off Ghost BC's new album, even if I find the lyrical material juvenile, I think they're good musicians.

I just discovered them. Completely different music than I thought they made. They're really great. They could be huge if it wasn't for the satanic lyrics.

I saw Slipknot/LoG the other night. Great show, though I wish LoG played a bit longer. Randy and Corey are both terrific frontmen.

I review The Sword's newest effort, High Country ...sadly it suddenly doesn't really belong on this thread:
