Default The bad acting thread

And I mean, like, painfully bad acting. Feel free to post videos or just vent about the terrible acting that tarnishes movies you love or just further enhances the ****tiness of already bad movies...

Here's abig one for me...

"You underestimate my power"?! Your only power is ****** acting, Hayden.

Honestly Christensen is a bad actor but I dont think the prequel trilogy is as bad as ppl make it out to be
Episode one was ok (would have been good except Jar Jar)
Episode II is awful
Episode III was good

Jessica Alba in FF, FF2, Good Luck Chuck
Sofia Coppolla in Godfather III (even though she didnt ruin the movie for me like other ppl)
Kate Bosworth in Superman Returns

Eeh... Episode I was good to me, from just a nostalgia perspective (I was eight and saw it like five times. I simply overlooked how terrible Jar Jar was). Episode II was pure crap. Episode III was probably the best effort out of the prequels IMO, but still not very good.

The Black Christmas remake was so terrible I thought the movie theatre was playing a practical joke when I saw it.

Matchstick Men is a good movie, but the first scene where Nicolas Cage's character and his partner convince a man and his wife to sign over their check is an awful performance. Cage is awful in it, but that film is one of his better ones. At least it's not Bangkok Dangerous. I'm not even sure how the studio releases a film like that. . .it's not even a spoof and it's laughably bad.

Keanu Reeves in Bram Stocker's Dracula. My God he was so bad in that movie it was insane.
I have no idea why he was cast in that role, but I heard somewhere it was so they could attract a younger audience. Talk about stupid decisions.

i think he's probably the worst thing about that movie. Otherwise, he's fine in movies that suit him like Point Break, Matrix, and Speed.

I never found Ali that bad. She plays her roles fine. She doesnt come off wooden like someone like Keanu Reeves or Katie Holmes.
Ali plays the manipulative, bit chy part well.

- Katie Holmes in Batman Begins - she was bad, and i didnt think she could be topped until...
- Maggie Gyllenhall inThe Dark Knight - this performance for me makes Katie's less bad. I felt kinda happy when the character got blown up finally
- Eddie Murphy in anything he makes these days

This has bad acting all around, but the blond girl makes sure she tops everyone else.

Saw this one this morning. I made my gut wrench

Now, any part of Generation X should do(the original live action X-men Film!), but here's some...

Although if the crazy Doctor wasn't there cheesing it up, it would be a bad BORING film.

Maybe I can't get you tube links. Still, the other links should do.

Katie Holmes in certain Batman film. Yes, he ruined part of the movie for me.

Arnold in Batman & Robin. Of course, the whole movie was crap, but he stands out amongst garbage. And now we're at it, Uma Thurman.

Keanu Reeves in Dracula sticks out like a sore thumb.

Hayden Christensen can't act his way out of a paper bag.

Sofia Coppola in The Godfather III and Katie Holmes in Batman Begins, not as bad as the above, IMO, but out of their league
