Revenge of the Sith used to be my least favorite Star Wars movie, but recently I rewatched them and actually found ROTS a lot better than I remember. It's not my personal favorite prequel, but I think it may be the best prequel on a technical/storytelling level, and maaaybe even better made than The Force Awakens (dodges flying vegetables).

Tropic Thunder

Right?! It was so popular when it first came out, and I didn't like it one bit. I saw it again a year or so later for some reason, and liked it even less. Then for no apparent reason I put it on and really enjoyed it. Didn't see that coming!

Which is your favorite of the prequels?

True story; when my friend and I saw ROTS in theaters, my pal cried during the showdown on Mustafar between Anakin and Obi Wan.

I HATED Holy Motors when I first saw it.

Upon rewatch, I didn't really like it, but I didn't loath it.

Yes, I watched it for college.

Adventures of Tintin.

It captures more of Herge's spirit than I first gave it credit for, though I still prefer the older films and tv shows.

One that comes to mind is Lord of Illusions. I didn't like it when I first saw it as a kid, but now I love it. Perhaps seeing the director's cut helped me make more sense of the film.

Sofia Coppola's "Marie Antoinette" (2006). Dialogue is atrocious, but if you get over that this is one truly beautiful movie (visually).

Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring (It bored the crap put of me the first time I saw, Then i watched the Extended cut and became a fan. I think its still the best one today.)

Batman Begins (I just hated the pace of the movie and how it sucked out everything that made the comics and Burton films so cool. I watched it again doh cuz I love the soundtrack and since then I accepted it for what it its and now its my second favorite Batman flick.)

Goodfellas (I saw Casino first and to me that was a masterpiece and this wasn't and its difficult not to compare the 2. I saw it a second time and thought it was better than I remembered but still no Casino.)

Mad Max (I still Think its the worst in the series but its grown on me more each time I catch it.)

The Exorcist (When I realized this movie is actually a misunderstood comedic Gem, I felt like an idiot for not realizing it the first time but in my defense, I was real young.)

I'd have to say The Phantom Menace is my favorite. I know that movie has a lot of technical problems, but I just find it fun and entertaining, aside from a couple boring parts. It feels a bit more small scale and simplistic than the other two, I think that's part of what saves it for me. Aside from that it used to be my favorite when I was a kid, and some of that nostalgia probably carried over.
