Couldn't agree more. Eisner would rotate in his grave if he saw the result of this movie. The Spirit would've been interesting to see in a pulpy/noir kinda film IMO, but with great respect to the original comics.

I think there is more chance of a Howard the Duck reboot than the Spirit, I think they will be made, just not within this lifetime unfortunately.

With The Spirit, on top of a lot of other things, the movie couldn't decide if it wanted to be Dick Tracy or Sin City. It shouldn't have to be either one, but being lost in regards to what tone they wanted really hurt that movie, along with lots of other stupid stuff.

daredevil and only daredevil.

reboots to me show a lack of creativity, so i am usually against them, but Millers Daredevil needs to see the light of day. they better get a damn good director. Nothing else really NEEDS a reboot.

While I'm not Nolans biggest fan what I did enjoy was how they tried to switch up the comic book movie format. You know the 20 mins in fight..another 30 mins fight and then the last 10 mins fight. I really wish these movies would stop that. It's my biggest complaint with marvel movies. I mean just predictable crap.

Daredevil
Having Fantastic Four and X-Men and Spiderman back at Marvel.
Batman films where all the bad guys can be in the films. Shot in the visual style of Sin City but in color.
