Default I want your opinion on something guys.

I like write, just for the hell of it. Exploring ideas, etc etc. Well I'm in the mood to write a Spider-Man story, I haven't done one in ages. Now within my story, Spider-Man would have his organic webbing, he's been Spider-Man for several years. The costume would be the Miles Morales version, simply because I like the design. It would still be Peter Parker though. I'm not too set on the costume though, I'm still deciding. He would have a belt, to house a cellphone, camera, and various other tools he might need. I was also thinking about adding the wrist braces from the Scarlet Spider costume, and have them function as wrist guards. To protect against knife attacks, and to cause some extra hurt when fighting.

But besides all that, there was one thing I was thinking doing, and I'm not 100% sure about it. When it came to the organic webbing, I'm contemplating on doing away with the finger pressing, and just having Peter, flex muscles on the inside of his body to use the web. What do you think about that? Is it too much of a change?

I think you should do whatever you want to do. I like writing too [actually, I don't do much writing, but I love making stuff up], and I just do whatever makes me happy.

That's true, but I can be somewhat of a softy when it comes to constructive criticism, so I like to ask before hand at times.

But yeah, I get what you're saying. If it's all for fun, it shouldn't matter in the end.

The design sounds cool and if Peter doesn't have to press his fingers, he can do several hand positions while firing. That'd look cool. Unfortunately, he could accidentally shoot some webbing if he throws an earth shattering punch or grips onto an object too tight. But it would act as a realistic approach to the character, as scientists have noted that web shooters are impossible. Or at least they claim it is. I think you're doing a great job so far!Good luck with the story!

if his stuff is organic, then there's no sense to pressing into the palm of his hand...

if you're trying to get away from the idea of web-shooters, then get away from the indication completely by ignoring the gesture and go with some form of hand movement showing webbing being ejected from his wrist...

probably extending his arm outwards by snapping it forward and then a snapping of his hand downwards at the same time with the with the web firing from his wrists...

basically the same move he would do if he still had web-shooters, just without the palm-pressing gesture...

me personally, I will ALWAYS prefer the web-shooters...

I think you should definitely do away with the hand gesture. I just don't like it how he has organic webs but he still needs to make the hand gesture to shoot it instead of having other muscles in his arm to do it.

Whatever you want to do, man. Do it. People might like it, people might not. People don't seem to like my USM redo though considering nobody responded to it. XD
