Ted and TDKR are the only films that went from mediocre to good for me after another shot

Drive is far from being a perfect movie, it's hardly good

I agree

I liked Ang Lee's Hulk. I think it's quite underrated.

I think every year there's a "small" movie getting critical acclaim, but when you see it, you feel that it's definetely not bad, but not excellent either. It happened with Drive, and this year I think it happened with Mud.

Same here.

Only reason I didn't like it originally was because I was expecting more crazy action when I saw it in the theater. On second viewing I watched it for what it was and really enjoyed it.

I like it a lot more than TIH, which is funny since TIH has way more action in it.

Although I love Ed Norton as an actor, I prefer Bana's Bruce. The Hulk's soundtrack was also pretty good too. I can't even remember what TIH's sounded like.

Wreck-It Ralph was a better film than Brave.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure many people think Brave winning best animated feature over Wreck-it-Ralph was BS.

It winning over paranorman was BS, but given the subject matter of it, I knew paranorman had little hope of winning, I'm surprised that the Academy even acklowledged it. However, I would have been fully content with wreck it Ralph winning.

Paranorman is a severely underrated movie, with an excellent message that is handed out in an easy to understand, but not heavy-handed, manner.

I'm starting to get a bit annoyed at RDJ as Tony Stark...

I liked Wreck-it-Ralph a lot, but found Sarah Silverman's character to be really, really grating at times.

As well... I feel we should see some maturity from him at this point in the MCU, if they put him in Guardians of The Galaxy I'm going to flip...

I still need to watch Paranorman. It's on Netflix, right?

Funny thing about Ted. I first saw it drunk, and I thought it was the funniest thing seeing it drunk. It was a great surprise seeing Joel McHale in the movie and the Ryan Reynolds cameo was hilarious too.

I saw it sober a few months later and it was still pretty funny.

Though when it comes to the big comedies last year, I enjoyed 21 Jump Street more than Ted.

That whole party part was hilarious. The guy getting stabbed, the 90s karoke, anything Flash Gordon and the asian guy did.

Sam J. Jones: We are gonna party like the '80s.
Ted: Show us how, Flash.
Sam J. Jones: It's easy. We just gotta nail a lot of girls named Stephanie.
