I'd like to have She-Hulk in one of the sequels.
Definitely. Her story makes sense and it's a GREAT addition ... or eye-candy if you will. ![]() Who should play her? Suggestions?

Why she'd be CGI of course.

The difference with Hulk and She-Hulk is that she doesn't have the enormous body mass the Hulk has. She's supposed to be 6'7" and 650 lbs., due to the added bone and muscle tissue, apparently from an extra-dimensional source.
You could use camera tricks to make the actress look 6'7" or 10' tall. For the green-skinned one herself, there are a few bodybuilders/athletes who could pull if off: Cory Everson Lisa Leslie Diana Dennis Rachel McLish Marla Duncan Lenda Murray Gabrielle Reece Chae An Sharon Christian Joanie Laurie (Chyna) Those are just a few. Put put one of them in green-makeup, purple one-piece and boots and there you go.

I think Sandra Bullock or Selma Blair would be great as Jen Walters as well.
The subplot of Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk would involve Bruce Banner on trial for mayhem caused by the Hulk. Jen Walters would be his criminal defense attorney. Bruce Banner would be kept under military survelliance. The Leader, who had been born just a few weeks before, would send out his robotic troops to capture Banner and harvest his DNA to study it. Jen would be visiting her cousin Bruce. Just as the robots attacked, Banner would morph into the Hulk during the fight between the Hulk, military and Leader's troops, Jen Walters would be wounded during the crossfire and lose a lot of blood. One of the robots (a smaller one) would manage to collect a strand of the Hulk's hair for analysis. This subplot would tie into the creation of the Abomination as the Leader would later on the film, bond particles of Banner's DNA as well as nanoprobes to his assistant, Emil Bionsky, a Russian genetic researcher. Emil always wanted great power, and Leader would give it to him. Back to Jen: she's taken to the hospital. Bruce is informed that unless she has a blood transfusion, she will die. Bruce demands to be taken to her: because his blood type matches hers. The soldiers fight with him, and he begins to morph into the Hulk, but Betty arrives and calls him down. Betty demands the soldiers to take Bruce to help Jennifer, but they refuse. She calls her father and he reluctantly authorizes the soldiers to let Betty drive Banner there under military escort. Jennifer Walters receives a blood transfusion and we see CG SHOTS of Banner's genetically-altered, nanoprobe-bonded, gamma-irridiated blood infusing with her blood. Jennifer and Bruce spend time together at the hospital. Jennifer thanks Bruce, but the time comes for Bruce to be taken away. Bruce tells Jennifer how scared he feels for her, because he's afraid she might turn into a monster like him. Jennifer tells him that she's never felt better (an allusion to the first film when Bruce says the same thing). Jennifer calls a taxi and waits outside the hospital. She says a woman being pulled into an alley. Her adrenaline kicks in. Jennifer tells the thugs to stop. The thugs approach her with knives. Jennifer feels her adrenaline kick in and as she's cornered, her eyes turn glowing green. The thugs tremble as the fantastic happens again -- for the first time, agonizingly, Jennifer morphs into a 10' tall, shapely and muscular woman with green skin - the She-Hulk. She beats up the thugs and they scamper away. She Hulk chases them as they get into their car. She bashes their twisted junk. Jennifer approaches the accosted woman and with surprise, we see Jennifer retain her normal intelligence. She sounds just like Jennifer and says the woman has suffered an emotional shock; she'll escort her to a rape crisis center. Just a few ideas on how She-Hulk could be integrated into a Hulk film.

However, if they continue this franchise, I think this plot idea you've got for introducing She-Hulk is very good, if it has to be set in the pathetically written world in which the first Hulk movie took place. Sandra Bullock shouldn't be in ANY comic book movies. I don't know what to say about the fact that you suggested her, but still, good plot idea. But don't think you snuck that bit from RoboCop in there without me noticing.

"She-Hulk" is probably THE stupidest comic book concept ever. And that's saying a lot.

there's a bajillion dumb comic book characters, bub... no need to trash on she-hulk... but I guess she is one of the more popular of the dumb (iyho) comic characters...
that said, She hulk could be done... but the blood transfusion origin takes too much set up to work right... having such an event come just out of the blue (oh, let me stop by my cousins house, BANG BANG, oh no, jenny!) is not going to flow right, cuz it's such a major event, the creation of another hulk, it deserves, in many respects, its own movie... which is NOT gonna happen. I'm really anti-She-Hulk unless we're talking about movie three... I can deal with that... Last edited by GL1; 03-31-2004 at 05:50 PM. |
