spider-joe ,shazam! was a live action show about the original capt.marvel, not a cartoon by any chance are you thinking of a 60 foot tall arabian genie in that case THE character you're thinking of is SHAZZAN

That is far from Old School

Try Looney Toons, The Flintstones, Jetsons, Woody Woodpecker, Tom and Jerry. These are old school cartoons and are 1000 times better than the crap that's put out today.

Batman: TAS, Pinky and the Brain, The Animaniacs and Inspector Gadget are at the very top of my list, because I loved them when I was very young and still think theyre awesome. Back when cartoons were aimed at children without being idiotic.
