We'll never see Scarecrow in a Ghost Rider movie because of Batman Begins is what str8raz0r is saying.

Then...What's the point of making an action figure?

That's stupid.

What I want to know is if they can make a planet Hulk Hulk, WHY can't they make a Lord Thor?
I mean the Hulk series that was out, didn't sell in the places I saw them in, WHY make more?
.......ok back on subject

It's far from stupid. The figure series is bring about 2 classic characters that are no where near this film, Scarecrow and Vengeance. They already have three Ghost Rider figures per series, and only 2 villians from the movie. They need to build up the series to allow for the figures to actually have some substance. Can't all be Ghostie.

Although surprised there is no Mephistopheles figure in there somewhere. That is disappointing.

Now, if only they can get skinner right.

BG, did you say you have the image from the toyfare? Can you PM it to me if you sent it out? I need to see this.

the great thing of what Toy Biz/Hasbro are doing is including characters from the movie and video game. both Scarecrow and Vengeance will be in the upcoming game as well as a few other classic characters. no idea if they will look like their comic counterparts or if they will have a new design but this is a great way for GR fans to get some of the other classic villains and supporting characters.
there was a plan to do a Classic GR line some time ago...sadly that line died when Classic Hulk, XMen didnt do too well. it pretty much killed any chance that we would see characters like Vengeance, Scarecrow, Orb, ect. Thankfully TB had the smarts to include them into the movie line. this will extend the shelf life of the line just a little bit by giving everyone a bit more variety other than just multiple Ghost Riders (which i wouldnt mind getting anyway )

i agree NDX about Mephisto...i was hoping that Meph would be the BAF pack in but i have no idea if Hasbro even plans on keeping the BAF gimmick, hopefully if the line does well we will see a 3rd assortment w/ Fonda/Mephisto.

That's good but I'm going to be mad if Scarecrow ends up looking really cool and he's not going to be in a Ghost Rider movie. Just knowing how good he could have been...

I thought Scarecow was cool when Zeck drew him years ago in Cap's book, that would be cool to see him made into a figure.

Just as long as they keep the burlap sack mask and his Trusty Rusty, I'm willing to give a Scarecrow redesign a chance.

Talking Re: Merchandise!

Damn.
I´ve just seen the Hasbro figures for 2006-2007 and all my worries gone away. I´m a big Toy Biz fan but, Hasbro´s work seems amazing so far.
The movie version of GR, my God...
And Hercules?! Very cool.
Now i can finally close my CHAMPIONS set.
Well, actually will be 100% completed with Darkstar, but anyway, the big 5 are there.
2007 will be the year of my life, yes sir.

not digging those giant "skull guns" but it seems typical to pack in huge pieces of artillery w/ your movie figures..lol
still they look nice!

true true....these are for kids 1st and foremost.
hope they pack in movie accurate weapons as well.
they also confirmed something we've all speculated about Caretaker...
the packaging (from what i can see) looks nice...and it looks like they combined assortments. hope they have more or it will seem they will only have 1 assortment. the video game versions of Scarecrow and Vengeance look great..
also i dont see the BAF GR either...again i hope they have yet to show it. would suck big time if it was cancelled

I really don't like that Scarecrow design. The weapon and hat just... damn, now I'm disappointed.

At least the transformed Caretaker looks good.

I don't think these will sell well because of parents. The last Ghost Rider action figure series in the 90's did bad because parents hated the flaming skull and the dark look to it.

Anyway, these figures look really cool. I know I'll get the Ghost Rider with the chain and bike and Blackheart first.

Nice find.

definitely think they got the skull/flame sculpt perfect. Looks great.

Still can't get used to the ball joints used for the legs.

And I'm still trying to figure out if I like Vengeance or not.
