Default How about a prequel?

They could do an adaptation where Zarathos inhabits an outlaw in the Wild West? I think this could be done really well, especially with cinematography.

Your thoughts?

I think it would be awesome, man.
Westerns are one of passions. Ghost Rider is my greatest passion.
Perfect, then.
I love the fact of existing a GR version since 1949, when the Western GR debut in Tim Holt # 5.
But i donīt think they will make a WGR movie. A GR without bikes?
The producers probably would think that it wonīt work on the big screen.
But it would be so cool, yes sir!

I wouldn't mind seeing a Western Ghost Rider... but not that version. If they did it, I'd like to see them have our glaming headed demon as he would have been back during that time. Ghost Rider on a horse would be awesome!

that's what i was trying to imply. the western ghost rider (comic) wasn't inhabited by unclean spirits.

Exactly, he pretty much just had a special suit or cape or somethign that gave him the ability to be invisable and stuff... thus, making him appear to be a Ghost.

If they did a series of movies each with a different GR in a different time in history I would be totally up for that. Although I still want to see Vengeance VS GR on film.

id rather see them move forward into the dan ketch era of the character (like the original idea for the movie was ages ago).

There should be plently of room to play both angles if they keep the series going.

if they do that, do 2 more movies. The next one would be Ketch, and the last one would be a re-imagining of the western ghost rider with the new GR's powers (as they're already doing in the current movie a little bit)

I think a GR movie set in medivial times woudl be quite interesting...

I doubt they'd ever do a prequel though, or that far anyway. A lot of investment goes into the development of characters and it would take the same amount of time to do it again if they did it that way. With sequals, you have a lot of freedom to do new things with existing characters.
