Re: Judge bars Archie Comics CEO from office
So, I've been doing some research on Nancy Silberkeit's non-profit, and I've found that it does not have proper certification from any state. While she did receive paperwork from the US government (a pin of sorts), the paperwork for non-profit status has not been processed. Leaves me wondering: why is she claiming that it's an official foundation, when it isn't? Doesn't that seem like a lie and quite misleading?
Silberkeit was recently in Maine at an anti-bullying event - lots of politicians were there and so forth - and she claimed that she had a non profit foundation called Rise Above Social Issues Foundation Inc. on May 11th and 12th. The non profit foundation was not official. She gave out samples of an upcoming anti bully comic book. This woman is loves to deceive people. She is capitalizing on the anti bully movement.
Here are things I'd like to know:
1) Who's on the board of this non-profit?
2) What are the bi-laws for the non-profit?
3) Has there been a meeting? When?
4.) Why did Silberkleit tell everyone by press release and in person that she had a non profit foundation?
Silberkeit accepted a check recently for her foundation. Although it was returned and not cashed, she did accept it. Why did she return it? Why hasn't the foundation become official?
She is currently being accused of bullying and sexual harassment, something I find interesting given her foundation's focus on bullying. Something stinks!
