The guy says that the only reason he was living was for episode 3...I dont understand why he is still alive after watching it then. Because if seeing that movie was what I was hinging my life on, I wouldve probably shot myself as I walked out of the theater.

He's hated his father since he was 9 years old...because he bought him a "USED" Star Wars toy instead of a shiny new one. He said he "got his revenge" by buying all the toys he could when he got older......yeah, I bet that taught his dad a lesson he'll never forget.

The funniest part about it is most of the posts after it are "Hell yeah" posts.

Don't laugh at this guy. This isn't really about being a Star Wars fan. This guy is clearly so depressed he is trying to find something familiar and conforting to hold on to, and it's Star Wars that he remembers from his childhood.

people have or have found themselves in similar situations with religion to be their anchor, rather than star wars...

the story is sad and 'sad' at the same time, but still sad...

When I was a kid I was lucky to even have gotten my Darth Vader and Storm Trooper figures. That guy should be glads his father got him anything in his life. When I was a kid my father could have cared less because of his alcoholism. He wouldn't have even bought me used Star Wrs toy.

Hearing that description makes me think we are kindred souls.

Sad.
If he's serious about Star Wars being the only reason he's alive, that's darn sad.

Hopefully now that Episode 3 is out, instead of seeing that as no more reason to live, he'll use it as an opportunity to move on with his life.

Yes, not too many people realize just what alcoholism does. They think it's fine and dandy to get smashed every night. Well, when there's kids involved it damages lives.

Oh, and if anyone revisits this thread I'm GeneralGrievous13.

It's like he'd never heard of The Transformers, GI Joe, Voltron, etc. before.

I bet he really likes watching the beginning of Return of the Jedi with Leia in her metal bikini.

Well, if you're into that thing. Of course Lucas failed to give female fans some Fan Service in the movies by providing scantily clad men.

Hello everyone. I searched for my Name and found this. Why are you guys talking about me like that?

Yes, it's all true..My father gave me a crappy used, snowspeeder for X-mas. He got it at the swap meet and brought it to me as a gift..not even wrapped. what an ***hole. I mean come on..You can't even wrap it?

I had an old beat up millenium Falcon that I purchased from my best friend for 3 dollars..I used the Cockpit cover from the falcon and used it on the Snowspeeder so I could put in Luke inside and he wouldn't fall out. I was traumatized because I wanted all the toys but my Dad was a cheap bastard..He divorced my mom when I was 5 or so..Star Wars was all I had left..

You have to understand I waited 16 years for another star wars movie..and waited 20 or more years for Revenge of the sith..Because the backstory for darth vader was writen in 1977 and I always wondered who was Anakin..I loved ROTS and for me its the best movie of all time.

I'd probably would be dead, if star wars didn't keep me busy and interested. It gave me something to do...cause life sucks sometimes.

After ep3..I had nothing to live for..but then, I had some hope..Lucas is going to make a TV show! ..Now that's something to look forward to.

I hope you all understand.
