- 8/26/05: Title Revealed. Please do not repost these titles on other websites.

- It sounds like episode #9 this season will be a Lex-centered episode. Judging from the title, it'll be Smallville's very first holiday-themed story.

- 9/28/05: One of the roles listed is for a "Santa Claus." Also look for characters named Dr. Litvack, Dr. McCann, Griff, Cindy Lou, Alex, some Gangbangers, and Doctor.

Clark Plays Santa Claus
- Clark uses his super speed and deposits presents under a tiny tree in a house in Metropolis. He repeats this process somewhere else. A little girl named Cindy Lou catches him. "You're not Santa Claus." Clark pulls out a Santa hat and puts it on his head. "Sure, I am. This year's new and improved model," he tells her. But if he's "Santa," then who is the fat, jolly white-haired man across the street, teetering on a rooftop while taking a swig from a bottle?
- Clark talks to the "Santa" to try and find out what he's so down about, and why he wants to jump off the ledge. "Santa" thinks the spirit of Christmas is dead, and that all people do is ***** and complain. He's been reading the message boards during Season Four, we see....

What's Going On At The Smallville Medical Center?
- A doctor orders for someone's glucose to be increased and for that person to be given twelve CC's. Suddenly, in comes Lionel with two air ambulence personnel. "Someone" is Lex.

Clark's Sacrifice
- Clark tells "Santa" what he's been going through himself, and we learn that Clark has "given up his first Christmas with the girl he's loved since he spied on her through his telescope" to instead give out toys. "I wasn't spying," Clark tells him. Clark says he's not the only one helping out with delivering gifts to these children in need. Chloe is helping too.
- Clark's conversation convinces Santa the Christmas spirit isn't gone. "Though it's certainly packaged better these days," he says, looking at Clark. Dude. Did Santa just hit on Clark? They say their goodbyes, but as Santa waves, he accidentally begins to slip off the ledge anyway. Clark's got to save him.


What's Going On At The Smallville Medical Center?
- The doctor orders "more suction" and "exposure" for Lex, who's apparently pretty ill. They're near losing him.

Chloe Meets Santa
- Chloe is exhausted at her computer at the Daily Planet, when she has a visitor - Santa. He tells her about his meeting Clark and offers to help. "I am familiar with the job," he says. He asks her to give him just "five deliveries," but Chloe turns away to do something. When she turns around, Santa is gone - doing the Clark-like disappearing act - and the presents are gone, too.

Post-Surgery
- Lex and Lionel talk after Lex's surgery. The scene is VERY peaceful between the two. Lex has just undergone a "life-threatening operation."

I'm liking the sound of this regardless of the title.

Sounds interesting, I agree but I think the title is just a working one.... They did that last year with onyx too.. it was called Lexes or something like that.

I don't think we heard about it's real title until fairly late in the season, considering that was the first episode after the post february sweeps hiatus.

The Title doesnt actually bother me really as they never show it on the actual episode. And I agree its just a working title.

Well it's supposed to be what Lex's life would be if he had chosen the "good" path.. so I would think that he and Clark would still be best friends.

That'd be interesting to see the dynamics of Smallville's Lois and Clark as a couple.

If we are to believe what they say in the article, it's a "dream sequence" of Lex's. So I'm not sure how Lois would play into that, if at all.

I cringed at that... but Serene reminded me that it was probably the writer of the article's interpretation.

Your right it is Lex's dream, but he still could dream about Clark being his best friend and that he had assumed some sort of hero role.

ROFL I laughed my a$$ off when she read that. If she WAS the real hero then she would NOT have had a death bed set for her since the first Episode since she is the MOST expandable one & with the fact her knowing Clark secret her death would help Clark's character learn some new things that help him to becoming Superman. Funny how Clark's Journey would go even FURTHER to him becoming Superman with HER Character's death. Now I am not saying it'll happen anytime soon but the fact she was Created just for this show & that ANY OTHER Female that found out about Clark's Secret = DEAD now. I rest my case. Only Lois has the pleasure of knowing about Clark & "STAYING" alive & maybe Lana.

She didn't say that about her character, the interviewer did..and she [or was it a he] said she was the real hero behind Superman in the making, not of Smallville

The writer is right & wrong Chloe just HELPS Clarl become Superman like I said
Chloe is the MOST expandable Character on the show & with the fact her knowing Clark secret her death would help Clark's character learn some new things that help him to becoming Superman. Funny how Clark's Journey would go even FURTHER to him becoming Superman with HER Character's death. Now I am not saying it'll happen anytime soon but the fact she was Created just for this show & that ANY OTHER Female that found out about Clark's Secret = DEAD now. I rest my case. Well, there's the whole idea of CLARK having kids. Human or not.... *shudder*

Okay, so we get beyond that. THEN, there's the inevitable BS that usually happens to shows when they're desperate and have to bring a BABY into the story.

GAHHHHHH!!!! The hair on the back of my neck is still standing up LOL.

Seriously though, it's one of my biggest pet peeves with another telling of the mythos (due out in June '06). Lana having a kid? Fine. Lex having a kid? Fine. Chloe having a kid? With Pete? Fine. LOL. But Clark? No freakin' WAY!

And I'm not even gonna talk about Lois.
